Per team policy, terms of the contract are not disclosed. Terms Of The Deal <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The first 2 years of the deal, according to multiple sources, are fully guaranteed at $4.5 million and $4.95 million. The third year is worth a maximum of $5.4 million, but is only partially guaranteed and includes conditions for the balance. The fourth year, 2007-08, is a team option for $5.85 million. The original agreement included a slightly lower starting salary and was spread over 5 years, with a partial guarantee in the fifth year. The adjusted deal leaves the Sixers with $400,000 remaining of their $4.9 million average salary exception. He was also going to receive 1.6 million in Milwaukee if he hadn't left. Though, he will be playing a much bigger role here, I think.
I think Skinner got overpayed, but then again this offseason who isnt? Skinner is really underrated he's a good rebounder, and a decent shot blocker but $4.5 mil to a guy off the bench? Sammy D and Kenny Thomas are going to start ahead of him right?
Do you all know how hard it is to find decent big men, that will agree to the MLE? It is a very hard process, and I'm thinking Skinner was a decent pick.
