spurs look strong. personally i would have let ginobli go, the 9 million sounds a tad steep. instead i would have tried to sign stephen jackson, sign or acquire a backup point guard and sign barry as well.
Jack said he was in disussion with the Spurs but he wanted more money than what was being offered. He's been looking for big money since the Spurs won the championship two seasons ago, he and his family are basically now set for a long time. Spurs couldn't afford to of let Manu go, he is so important to the Spurs success. It also wasn't as If he was overpaid, 50-55 million over 6 years is not that bad of a contract

Also, don't forget that Devin Brown shapes to be a big part of the rotation this season. A different player to Manu, but plays a little like SJack with better D.
