If you want my honest opinion Kwame Brown is a top 15 defender in the league, I dont know if that says much or not but his Defense is really underrated, the only thing that holds him down is he is afraid to block shots because he thinks he will pickup fouls, so instead he just raises his hand. Numerous occasions this year he gave Grade A PFs more then they could hande on D, including Chris Webber and Jermaine Oneal...I think once he gets is offensive game more matured he will be one of the best overall players in the league. If you watch him closely he does little things that bothers the offensive player and it works...he isnt afraid to challenge quick guards too and most of the time he keeps up with them...Look for him to be a big defensive presence this year.

Also Kwame is one of the best low-post defenders that doesn't block very well but is still effective.
Yes I wouldn't put him top 15 overall defenders wither, but in terms of PF's and C's, yes he's top 15, I'm guessing thats what Kobe_8_Ball meant. It seemed odd that he was a better shot blocker 2 seasons ago than he was this last season, but yea it's true that he's a little reluctant, he needs to go out their and challenge shots because he has to athleticism to be a decent blocker.

I like it too, he's like a bigger less shot blocking Bosh, and also without the range, but I heard his jumpshot is improving, he was a good free throw shooter, it would be nice for that to translate into his jumpers from about 15-18'.

Well the guy on Draftcity said it in the link I posted from the Summer League stuff in taht thread that says what's Kwame doing, but they're saying he's working
