Kidds agent told ESPN that the Nets do not want to win and are not serious about winning anymore. Which I belive is true and I think Kidd will demand a trade unless we do something that will make us win cause Kidd is about a championships now with his age and injuries (since is a little fragile now) If we gotta trade lets do it before he get to old and cant get nothing for him. And trade him to a team that can definately win championships cause he deserves on with all of the stuff he has gone through and i dont want to leave the league without the elusive championship.
I will always be a Kidd fan for what he has done for the Nets. If the Nets need to trade him, I think that the best option is trading Kidd for Bibby. Not only does Bibby look a little bit like Kidd, but he has some history with Kidd where Kidd taught him some stuff. So long as the Nets keep Jefferson, I think that they have something to build around.
That would be a great trade just because the kings came so close to the championship and i think kidd get them past that hump.
Indeed, but it also depends on how Webber can play Defence with his ailing knee. Either way Kidd wont be done wrong if traded to the Kings. Its a rather good trade for the Nets as well due to Bibby being a young guy with a smaller salary. However, to make the trade work the Kings would have to send over Bobby Jackson with Bibby. Bibby is 10.5M this seaon + 3.1M Jackson = 14.7M Kidd...so long as the salaries are within 15%, the trade can work (both teams are over the cap).

Kidd has a huge contract and he's getting older by the second. sure they would instantly get better defense and a better playmaking but at a cost for the future. they're already saddled down with webber's contract, i don't tihnk they're going to do anything like take on another big contract. what i see more reasonable happening is throwing someone other than jackson. That way they get a quality point guard albeit the higher salary.
I hope Kidd can be traded to Houston, or Miami. Just give the nets three or four 1st pick, then trade Kidd
