NFC SOUTH - (8-8) Well as a Saints fan i'll start off with us. The first 12 games were the worst performances under Jim Haslett's belt as the Saint's head coach. But with a, out of the blue, 4-0 finish in December, I'd say this could of saved his job and many others. Props to Joe Horn for his best year in the pros, aswell as to LeCharles Bentley, Darren Howard, Charles Grant and Mike McKenzie for playing a tremendous roll in the last four games. Next year should "Hopefully" be a better year for the Saints with Donte' Stallworth finally breaking the shell and Will Smith as our rookie sensation. It's always next year with the Saints and hopefully it is NEXT YEAR.

(7-9) Next up are the defending NFC Champs The Carolina Panthers. With one of the worst starts in franchise history (1-7), they found their way clawing back into the playoff hunt at (7-8) giving all NFC teams a scare if they were to make it in the playoffs. To me, i give the Panthers more props this year than last year. To be considered another NFC South bust, after the Bucs 2003 (7-9) performance after a SB win in 2002, they showed me and many others they were not. Props to Muhsin Muhammed for a stellar year and filling all pro receiver Steve Smith's shoes. Also to John Fox and gang for keeping this teams composure throughout the last 8 games, Jake Delhomme, Julius Peppers, Chris Gamble, Nick Goings, Keary Colbert and Will Witherspoon also get kudos. Next year with DeShaun Foster and many others healthy i'm not to sure i want to play this team.

(11-5)The NFC South division winners, The Dirty Birds. What can i say, he's a Mora. The only thing i have to say about this Falcon season is, it should of been last year. With a healthy Michael Vick and a good defensive coordinator, this team should of been in the playoff mix last year. With a defense like that you should'nt have to much to worry about. I won't say the reason for all this is Michael Vick, but i will say it's about as much of a reason as T.O. is to Philly. Props to the Atlanta Falcon defense(Patrick Kerney, Bryan Scott, Rod Coleman, Keith Brooking) this year and to Jim Mora, Jr. for a good rookie season. Good luck in the Playoffs.

(5-11)The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Oh boy, well ummmmm lets think. Ok for starters it looks like we might have a QB/WR connection with Brian Griese and Michael Clayton, to me i think that's what they need to build around. John Gruden has the talent to bring this team to peak, that's if he makes the right moves in the off season. With a #4 or #5 pick they should have a chance to pick up either a solid RB or OT. A (-9) turnover ratio is not Tampa Bay football, that was a big part this year. They need to make a huge off season move to get this team going again. Props to Simeon Rice, Rhonde Barber, Michael Clayton and Brian Griese. Hopefully this off season will turn things around for the Bucs.

NFC WEST -(6-10) The Arizona Cardinals. Well Denny Green's first year at head coach has got me thinking. I honestly saw no real improvement in the offense except for maybe Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. But the defense has definitely shown up to many games this year, thanks to Bertrand Barry, Adrian Wilson and James Darling, ok and maybe Duane Starks aswell. But the thing is here is that they need a RB and QB really bad. We've seen Denny Green put a dent in Minny's Salary Cap and Arizona, well, just does'nt have one. What to do??? What to do???? Good luck Denny.

(2-14)The 49ers Hey they have the first pick of the draft. With that they should solve one problem, right???? NO. Well to me i really don't know what to do with this team, if i did i would be coaching in the NFL. The only good thing they have is the #1 draft pick and a handfull of descent players(Tony Parrish, Jeff Ulbrich and ummmmmmmmmmmm well that's it for now) This is another team that has to make big moves in the off season if they want to contend with their division.

(8-8) Well well well the St. Louis Rams. This team is a rollercoaster of emotions, they'll win some then they'll lose some. Mike Martz to me should get the boot, this team has way to much offensive talent to not be competing with the big dogs. Although they did beat Seattle twice, but that's nothing to brag about that's another rollercoaster team. The only thing I can really think of about this team is consistancy, and getting rid of Kyle Turley. If they can stay consistant then this team should'nt have to worry about fighting for the last spot in the playoffs. Props to Holt and Bruce, Pisa Tinoisamoa, Jemetrius Butler and Bryce Fisher. And also to Stephen Jackson their rookie sensation.

(9-7)The Seahawks are becoming another rollercoaster team of the NFC, just like the Rams and Saints. They have plenty of talent on both sides but they seem to drop the egg on big games. *cough* *cough* JETS. With a stellar year for Shaun Alexander and Darrel Jackson this team was only 2 points away from not taking the West. I do think they'll get revenge on the Rams and maybe move on to the NFC Championship, but they need to start playing well with the talent they have. Props to the secondary(Ken Lucas, Marcus Trufant, Ken Hamlin, Michael Boulware and Terreal Bierria) for being the only thing on that defense that kept them alive. Maybe a LB or a DT will help during the off season. Good luck in the playoffs.

NFC North - (5-11)The Chicago Bears are another team that just fell off the charts. After a 13-3 finish in 2001, they?ve plummeted to the bottom and still have?nt found their way back. This team just has the injury bug. Well and no offense, but they?ve still got a defense. I think a look in the market for a solid WR and offensive coordinator would help this team out. Their QB situation needs to come to a conclusion before it gets any worse. Props to Thomas Jones, R.W. McQuaters, Michael Green and Lance Briggs. With a healthy Brian Urlacher and Adewale Ogunleye this defense should be on top next year.

(6-10)The Detroit Lions have to be very frustating to watch. After a 4-2 start they found themselves in a hole not even the Panthers could climb out, losing the next 8 out of 10 games. Yes injuries did effect this years play, but they still have pretty descent talent on both sides of the ball. Mariucci has always been a competitive coach, but lately his team has just been letting games slide out the palms of their hands. A little improvement on the O line and maybe a LB or two could get this team going. Props to both Kevin Jones and Roy Williams for their rookie season. Also to Brock Marion and James Hall.

(8-8)The Vikings are a team that just baffles me. Can anybody say CHOKE. Lucky for them the Saints held up to their part of the deal by taking out the Panthers, while the Vikings were having a little trouble in D.C. This team just makes me sick. Daunte? Culpepper, Randy Moss, Michael Bennett, Nate Burleson, Marcus Robinson, Ontario Smith, Jason Wiggins, the list could go on. But "somehow" they find themselves looking down the road back home at the end of each year. I personally think this team should?nt be in the playoffs untill they find a way to stay consistant. Props to Kevin Williams, Daunte? Culpepper and Nate Buleson. The rest need to wake up.

(10-6)The Green Bay Packers looked quite well through the last half of the season. Brett Favre to me is just amazing. One year it?s his dad and then the next it?s his brother in-law and then his wife, I mean come on can somebody get this man a tissue. But somehow, someway he continues to punish defenses and win games. Finishing 9-2 in the last 11 games is pretty impressive. With Donald Driver, Ahman Green and Jevon Walker, I don?t see any reason why he would want to retire next year. Props to those four, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Nick Barnett, Darren Sharper and the coaching staff.

NFC East - (6-10)Dallas Cowboys. Well Tuna?s Cowboys are struggling to find a way to win with Skinny Vinny?s shananagans, but there?s still hope in this team. The defense for some odd reason just looked like total dog mess this year and the offense was just never in tune. Julius Jones looks promising along with Keyshawn Johnson and Jason Witten, but their QB situation needs to improve. I have no idea why this defense was?nt there this year. Could be the coaching perhaps. But if they want to contend with the NFL they need some serious tuning up to do. Props to Dat Nguyen, Julius Jones, Keyshawn Johnson and Greg Ellis.

(6-10)The New York Giants. Warner??? Manning??? Warner???? Manning???? Warner???? Manning???? The once was or the going to be. Everyone remembers the days of Kurt Warner taking the St. Louis Rams to the SB and making them one of the best teams of the century and every know of the Mannings and their damage they?ve done in their career. But did anybody ever stop to think if Tom Coughlin knows what the hell he?s doing. I?m sorry you don?t take out a veteran starting QB to replace him with a rookie. I don?t care if it?s a Manning, you just don?t do it. I don?t know if Coughlin?s strategy of discipline will hold up in the end, but I will say there is definitely a lot of talent on this team. Lets just see if it?s put to good use. Props to Tiki Barber and only Tiki.

(6-10)The Skins found a answer in the beginning of the season with Joe Gibbs and Clinton Portis adding to the squad. Everyone remembers coach Gibbs and the good he?s done for the franchise years before. But this is 2004 and times have changed. Letting go of Champ Bailey for Clinton may have been a good move, just not this year. Another team with QB issues, the Redskins will need some huge improvement in the off season. A QB, OT, OG, C, DT, DE and maybe another Nickel CB. They?ve got the coach they just need the wins. Props to Clinton Portis, Laveranues Coles, Marcus Washington, Shawn Springs, Sean Taylor and Antonio Pierce.

(13-3)The Eagles are on the verge to go to the NFC Championship AGAIN and most probably lay an egg AGAIN. Without Terrell Owens in the mix this team will struggle to make big plays and have to look to Brian Westbrook to open the playbook. The defense looked well this year, as always, and their offense looked unstoppable with T.O. as their center of attention. All in all they looked like the Eagles do every year but with a receiver. The question is can they win big games without T.O. After resting most of their starters for two weeks and with another two weeks off, I believe they?ll have trouble getting into groove for the playoffs. Props to the defense, Donovan McNabb, T.O. and the offensive line. Don?t lay another egg.
