BEFORE joining Fat Joe weekends at 155th & Eighth for the remainder of the summer, or at poolside/courtside in Miami next season, a few thoughts are in order regarding L.A. Lawless choosing a self-center over its centerpiece, and the Nets' worst decision since Roy Boe sold Julius Erving to the 76ers for $3 million at the same time he sold out their fans ... but first some news.

The Knicks are getting infinitesimally close to solidifying a sign-and-trade arrangement with the Warriors accenting epicenter Erick Dampier; and you thought Jamaal Magloire has seen his last All-Star daylight now that the Hornets have shifted to the Western Conference. </div>

Peter Vescey was definently intoxicated when writiting this. This is pure ludicrous, really.

    My prediction:
    Knicks:
    Nazr Mohammed
    Moochie Norris

    for

    Warriors:
    Erick Dampier
    Evan Eschmeyer

Does it matter? Even when sober the mans an idiot and a bonafide gossip monger, most of that gossip being manufactured by himself.

The only time I read anything from Vecsey in any serious manner is when I'm in need of a good laugh.

The NY Post is one, maybe two steps up, from tabloid journalism, IMO. Vecsey fits right in.

You must not be a big van exel fan huh? Anyway he wouldnt have fit well with the knicks him and his me first attitude wouldnt work. Plus he want to play for texas so will probable be traded again to the mavs, rockets, or spurs.
