I heard that he was going to retire. I haven't heard anything about it since that was announced. So, as far as I know, he hasn't retired. But, I think he will. He didn't have a good season last year cause he missed a ton of it due to injuries. I don't believe he's going to be back in uniform next season as a Chicago Bull or for any other team.

The last I heard, they were talking about him not playing this year and the Bulls having to buy out the rest of his contract.

There was an article about pippen being forced to retire although he didn't want his career to end this way (through injury), I will poist it when I find it.

I dont think he will retire and havent heard any official announcement. He probable wont retire though since he has one year left on his deal and he has done this countless times before pondering or saying he would retire , but never going through with it. The guy just loves the game to much and keeps tring to hold on another year after every season. Though his body has shown he cant hold up and should retire I think he will return.

it would hurt the Bulls alot maybe not as much on the court
but he brings leardership and experience he is the only guy that
has been through it all. was on a winning team, then on a losing team
then back to a decent team.

The are going to need him
    on and off the court.

I personally think Pippen is not going to retire. You'll see him in a Bulls uniform next year.

For the sake of his health, I think Scottie should hang them up. He has been such a great player in the NBA but he's done his time. As much as I love Pippen, his body is too worn down.
