Stacey Augmon wouldn't be too bad, as long as we offered him a reasonable contract. He's a pretty good bench player who can do a litlte bit of everything. He'd provide verteran leadership as well, which is something our roster could use given the amount of young guys in uni.

He probally wouldnt make a huge impact, but he would be a decent roll player and is not a bad defender. As you said he would be a solid vet and expierence is something this team needs.

Yeah but it would be good to sign Augmon if Hill is healthy because yuou never know what wil happen with Grant,I would sign Augmon just in case,so they would be prepared for the worst.

I'm one of those people who won't write Hill off yet, but know deep down he's pretty much worthless.

We must have the mentality that he's just going to fail yet again - because thats all we know so far. And when/IF he comes back, he sure as hell won't be the same Grant Hill we saw tearing it up for the Pistons in the mid-nineties.

I say, go for Augmon as long as he fits the price. Otherwise, keep looking.

But whatever we do, build the team as if Grant Hill isn't a part of it.

Slava Medvedenko is a PF. Way too small, and not physical enough to play the Center posistion.

k, dampier and mihm are restricted, and they will stay were they are unless traded, divac or ostertag could fit. divac while old, can still be a playmaker and a great passing big man. maybe he can teach dwight a thing or two.

Augmon to Orlando would be nice because of his defensive presence, but we have too many sg/sf's on the roster now. We need to get rid of one of them to get him. Go after a center, not another sg/sf.

Whether Hill is healthy or not is irrelevant in this situation, IMO. We need one more big man!! We've got too many SF's as it is.

Personally, I agree with what some of the people above are saying...we don't need another swingman on this team. At this point, if we need anything, we could use another center that can contribute every night.
