Well, he's definetly better than Grant, a LOT better. The starters you took from us are worse than the people warming the lakers bench. Our team didn't pass the 2nd round of the playoffs, and we just gave you half of that, w/o trading our star player (and who pretty much carried us into the playoffs.) You lakers fans will have as much fun watching odom/butler/grant choke as much as the heat fans did during the playoffs. Don't forget, now odom/butler/grant are playing in a tougher division Jus my 2 pennies.
Everyone makes it sound like Divac is Ancient or something. LOL. He is good enough for the current needs of the team. He can pass, rebound, and flop to cause charges. I've seen it time and time again! lol..... This new laker team is going to be FUN!
Dont you guys think vlade will slow the lakers down to much he doesnt seem to fit their new look. I would have liked to see them use that money to try and lure malone back he defintly wont resign with them now.

1. brian grant is now playing at his natural pf position or backup center to vlade 2. did anybody watch devean george in the playoffs ? can you really say we dont have a massive upgrade at the sf position? 3. odoms marijuana arrests? i don't give a damn if the guy smokes pot as long as he plays ball...plus did you see him getting arrested in miami? nope...didnt think so... 4. did they really choke against indiana? they weren't supposed to be as good as the pacers, the pacers were considered the second or third best team in the conference and they took em to 6 games...miami should have been proud as hell of that team, especially since they were so young as a core...and the real reason miami died against indiana was eddie jones' refusal to pass the ball to wade and him jacking up horrible shots downt he stretch rather than feeding the hot hand...were you not even watching those games as a miami fan? i was watching them...very closely...and miami was in that series all the way...and eddie jones choked, not odom, or grant, or butler... 5. don't talk about how good miami is gonna be until you have a full starting squad and roster...now you've got 10 players...picked up one of my favorites today in keyon dooling but he does your team no good...hes a drive and kick style pg and you've got no good outside shooters...save eddie who if the trend continues wont be able to hit hte broad side of a barn this year... 6. the lakers are deep, athletic, and YOUNG unlike the aging heat...and a few years from now you'll be building around wade and wright...and we'll be building around sasha, kobe, odom, and caron...good luck...miami will not be better than the lakers this year, or any years to come in the immediate future...
