So here are three trades that I would consider if I were the Raps GM. I love the washington trade. Gets Vince together with Jamison and gives us some younger talent and a center.

The rest I think are possible and make sense to both teams. I know they won't happen, but you only asked for possible scenarios.

I'd never do that Portland Raptors trade if I was Babcock. Why would you wanna give up VC, AW and DM for a proven loser in Shareef Abdur-Rahim and an aging centre in Theo Ratliff?

I think the portland deal would be a step back to the Raps too. Besides Shareef plays the 4 which is Bosh's position.

That's IF, only IF Chandler puts some weight on and plays Centre, otherwise we don't need him.

lol...no kidding. you COULD make any trade work on the trade checker by putting togther a whole bunch of throw ins for vince. that houston trade is an abosolute joke. sure it works...but look at it. houston gets an all star, one of the most popular player in the league and a 20ppg player, for 3 bench players. HORRIBLE deal.

here is another example...sure its "accepted" but would new orleans really part with magloire now that they are in the west? prolly not

I think Brand could play some center...he has decent sized, just not that tall. I mean we had Antonio Davis playing center all those years, so why not Brand? Brand is a better defender and rebounder than Davis and thrown in the fact that we're playing in the East and I don't think it would be that much of a problem.

    Brand
    Bosh
    Maggette
    Rose
    Alston

    looks pretty good to me...

The Clippers would never do that...and Brand is only 6'8 and Brand is much more valuable than VC anyday...

A lot of these trades are really unrealistic, all the trade checker does is match the salaries, so I don't really see a point in this thread.

Eclipse, the Clippers wouldn't even think of doing that trade, Maggette is worth Vince, to have Brand in there is blasphemy.

Sure the salaries match for all the trades, but almost none seem realistic; mainly for the other team.

^ I know the Clippers wouldn't agree to it...but I'm thinking if it was a one-for-one Vince for Maggette, the Clippers would seriously think about it. After losing out on Kobe, they need another star player to get fans in the seats and Vince would definately do that.

From our standpoint, I would definately agree to a Maggette for Vince trade (if we had to trade Vince). I think it would be a fair trade for both teams.

Edit: yeah I just had to throw in Brand and Marshall to make the salaries match...too bad Maggette for VC wouldn't work because it would be good for both teams.

I dunno.. I'd rather keep VC if he comes out and says he doesn't want to be traded. I'd hate to see VC become another T-Mac.. I'd rather see Vince bring back the Vinsanity next season.

yeah, I don't want to see Vince go, but if he doesn't want to be here anymore, Maggette is one player that we would get almost equal value for and has a ton of talent.

Agreed. [IMG] But the question remains.. would Maggette give up the nice So-Cal weather and the city of Los Angeles to play in Canada? Like VC did when he signed the 7 year extension in 2000?
