I seem to remember Tice saying that the Vikings dont play the NY Gaints in the 2005 regular season. The NFL released the opponents of next season and guess what the Vikings play the Gaints for the 3rd year in a row.

    2005 regular-season opponents

It probably be a mid-season game at which time the Vikings will lose and skid out of control. Maybe the goal for next season is to beat the Gaints and Packers for it to be a sucessful season even if they lose the rest of the games.

    Umm...gee...

Next year the Packers have to play Pittsburgh and Seattle (division champs) at home and play Atlanta and Philly (division champs) on the road, in addition to their division schdule. They also get Carolina, Baltimore and Cincy (Road). Fun. *sigh*

Actually, I think the Cincy game will be fun to watch. I can't remember the last time the Pack played them.

Actually, I take back what I said about Green Bay's schedule after seeing the horror the 49'ers are facing next year.

Arizona, St. Louis, Seattle, Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Houston, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay (Home)

Arizona, St. Louis, Seattle, Philadelphia, Washington, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Chicago (Road)

I thought the worst team in the league was supposed to get an easier schedule? I guess that's parity for you... Double Ouch.

Tice said that in a post-game interview...you could probably find it in the startribune.com archives.

They weren't easy on the pats...as usual...

Home - San Diego, Indy, Oakland , Tampa (Oakland & Tampa should be much improved)
Road - Pittsburg, Atlanta, Carolina, Denver, KC

Nevermind the AFC East could very well be the toughest division next season if Miami gets there act together...because of every team having a nasty defense....I wish indy was in our division still because we play them every year anyways and Peyton would have had a hell of a time getting the TD record.

You can't determine the difficulty of a teams schedule before the season starts. In July last year I thought the Eagles schedule was pretty tough, but obviously I was wrong

they had a tough schedule even for this years standards. records dont mean anything.

they played vikings, who were a really good football team,. they just didnt end that way.

Ravens are also a good team, just tough season

    Steelers- self explanatory

    Packers- also very good

rams, they look really good right now, if only we had a starters playing.

panthers, but we didnt play them at a good time.

our schedule was pretty hard, its just the records might have thrown people off
