I dont no what anyone thinks, but I believe our current team is what our 2004-05 roster will be. I dont seee any big trades since we dont want to disrupt chemistry sure it would be nice getting a center, but the only good one still out is swift, and we dont have the money to sign him. We would have to do a sign and trade with jerry west. What are your thoughts anyone seee a big trade coming in the next few weeks?
Eh, I really don't see us making any moves. And besides, I doubt we wil get Swift. The Hawks will probably offer him a huge contract. They have expressed interest in him after they gave up on Dampier. The only thing I can think of us doing is going for a center, EJ is ageing and Kandi is a bust. So we really don't have a strong center. A big name center is something that would be very nice, but honestly, I don't see anything happening.
From what I here the Wolves are making a light push at Karl Malone but the Spurs & Heat are the leading candiate for his services. Also I am hearing names like Googs, Vin Baker & Rodney Rogers so I expect they will make a legit run at a cheap bigbody to help down low. But I dont expect any moves other than that. As a Nets fan I can say that the Wolves clearily need to pass on Rodney Rogers, his effort the last few seasons in big spots has been horrible. and he isnt in shape to be the productive combo forward that he was with the Clippers,PHX, & Boston. Vin Baker not for sure if he fits in with the chemstry & make up of this team. And with the possiblities of off court problems always lumming with Vin Baker, it makes him kind of shakey for a team with championship goals. And Goog's health is always an issue with him. But Googs does have history with this franchise.
There aren't any big deals to make. We brought back Hudson, which is about the biggets thing your gonna see. We aren't going to be getting any big-name center now that we did a contract, and we don't have anyone to trade. I can only hope that we can sign Karl Malone. We could utilize him off the bench.
