Cavs rape Sixers but get a bad contract,IMO Snow-LeBron backcourt will be great.Snow doesn't demand the ball and is a good defender.

EDIT: I found out that Ollie has an awful contract also [IMG]

Don't forget now, we still have McInnis. I'm wondering how this is going to work out? Who will be the starter, Snow or McInnis? I like snow though. Team player. A pointguard that can dish the ball really good and as you said is a good defender. A player I like, but had no idea whats so ever that the Cavs were even interested in him. Good pickup though. Just wondering how the minutes will be divided between Snow and McInnis.

Well we would never trade McInnis for Snow, that would be a step backwards. And Wagner could have been a possibility, but he wouldnt fit on your team. Obviously the 2 spot is taken and believe us Wagner is not a PG. Overall I would just be pissed that you have look at Kevin Ollie next year. He is so unbelievably bad.

Snow's eventually gonna start. The Cavs want a pass-first point guard around Lebron.

Just to let you know that Snow is a way better quality pure point than McInnis by far and yes he will eventually start.

    They now need a PF

Now that cleveland acquired Eric Snow they now need a good power Forward to replace Boozer.

And then they could challenge for the playoffs and even further.

Maybe not by far, McInnis isn't bad, but Snow is a better defender, but McInnis is a much better shooter, and is very good at taking care of the ball, and a good passer too.

This is going to be interesting how it will pan out. McInnis has had a bad rep of complaining about not having enough minutes in Portland. With Snow in town, Im guessing it will happen again. JMac doesn't like to play 2nd fiddle to NO ONE, he doesn't care if your the Pope with a killer crossover, JMac wants his minutes.

Snow will backup McInnis.. McInnis is starting.. getting Snow is just so we don't have to suffer if we lose McInnis like we did last year. And it got rid of a ulgy contract for a player who sucks and a player who don't do much. Great trade for the cavs.

[IMG] McInnis earned his right to start because of his play last season. He was pretty much our MVP because of his contributions to the team.

I reckon Snow will end up starting at the point by the second half of the season. I like McInnis, but Snow has proven himself as a starter for a lot longer, and is really a Paul Silas type of hard working, gritty player. No Knock on McInnis, but he needs to prove himself for more than the last third of a season (and good luck to him). Kevin Ollie was fantastic for us over the last 20 games of the season when we aquired him from Milwaukee, it's how you follow up that is vital.

As for Philly, this could be an indication they are trying to clear up more minutes for a guy like Willie Green, and may be planning on giving Igodala some time at the point guard position, I would say to teach him the position and widen his versatility at this level.

Well... looking at it from a good point of view for the Sixers, at least they get a great athlete with a lot of potentiol in Kedrick Brown.

Philly is trying to clear cap space and get involved in a big trade. With the additions of Ollie and Brown we now stand at 18 players on the roster, 16 with the FA's. Still that is a lot of players to put on the IL. Throwing in some of those guys for a good addition to Iverson should not be surprising.

I am glad that we got rid of Snow, he has been on a decline the past two years, lost his spot up jumper that served us so well among other things.

Part of an article from ESPN,so Cavs fans dont worry Jeff will still be the starter and will probally get more minutes.

I agree with Tom Tolbert when he said "Mcinnis is a great back-up type point guard", meaning that the cavs need a more solid pg at the starting position, not to mention to slide James to the 2 spot. I think Snow may be able to fit this position quite nicely, as he did alot of the time feeding Iverson.
Overall, I dont belive that the Cavs have made a step forward this offseason; the loss of Boozer stings and his presence will be almost impossible to replace. While Gooden is a quality player and has shown flash at times, the Cavs need someone else who can step in, preferably at the 3 or 4 spot.
And look for James break out this year in a major way, as if he hasnt already....
