Quoting RJ 21:

I think the Lakers can be the #3 seed. They only have to beat out Sac-Town for the Pacific Crown. That shouldn't be too hard for Kobe and Co.

Sac Town should beat them out, they also got a fast raising Suns team in their Division. They can surprise some teams. I think a lot of people are underrating the lakers just because they lost Shaq, they got Odom, Butler, and Brian Grant (who isn't a bad rebounder)...

Allright folks this is what Anonymousjeet thinkz.
Eastern
1. Detroit (The champs r most likely gonna win the division)
2. Boston (I don't see them losing that division)
3. Miami (diesel power baby, and with Wade for some acceleration)
4. Indiana (They might have the 2nd best record in the east)
5. Orlando (Watch the worst team come back )
6. Toronto (Vince Carter baby, he will prove the critics this year)
7. New York (Marbury and co. will definately be in the playoffs)
8. Philadelphia (I can't see Iverson letting them miss the playoffs two straight years).

Western Conference
1. Minnesota- Kevin Garnett is just getting better every year.
2. Houston- (as much as I know Duncan is sweet, he can't touch Mac-Yao connection)
3. Phoenix- (This team is loaded, I mean really. Especially for guards, only weakness is centre).
4. San Antonio Spurs (They probably end up having 3rd best record in the west, I hate these guys).
5. Denver (Melo and K-Mart show)
6. Los Angeles Lakers (Just cuz Shaq left, doesn't mean they ain't gonna make the playoffs, I mean u got mr.Odom, and the butlahhhhh)
7. The Queens (These guys are getting worser ever year, they'll never be the same since Horry hit that shot)
8. Dallas Mavericks (This team is really changed a lot. No more steve nash= no more classicness).

Geez, I had to delete my old post because the predictions were terrible [IMG] I was betting on all of these guys going to different teams and everything...here's my real predictions.

WEST
1. San Antonio Spurs (the addition of Barry, and Manu starting every game, will put them at the top of the West)
2. Los Angeles Lakers (success = team chemistry)
3. Minnesota Timberwolves (I had them at #2 I believe, but Cassell is already causing problems...which is not good)
4. Sacramento Kings (they will have another good regular season, like every year)
5. Houston Rockets (come on, it's Yao Ming, who's getting better each year, and McGrady)
6. Denver Nuggets (K-Mart, Melo, Dre and Nene will surprise a few teams out West)
7. Phoenix Suns (the addition of Nash will put this team in the playoffs)
8. Memphis Grizzlies (Gasol and Co. are underrated, and will do what they did last year to prove it)

EAST
1. Detroit Pistons (would've owned this seed last year if Sheed started the season in Detroit)
2. Miami Heat (no competition in their division makes them a lock here)
3. Boston Celtics (they will beat out the Knicks in the Atlantic)
4. Indiana Pacers (Jermaine O'Neal will prove that he is the MVP of the East)
5. New York Knicks (with the addition of Crawford, the Knicks should be sitting at the 5th seed)
6. Milwaukee Bucks (they'll leave off where they were last year)
7. Orlando Magic (Francis, Mobley, Howard, and Nelson...why not?)
8. Charlotte Bobcats (my man Okafor...and...that's about it, but I just wanna be the first to say that the Bobcats will make it [IMG] hehe)
