..Seen a post on ESPN Board I think from a Kings fan who said the Queens fans/media are talking about a C-Webb and B-Jax deal for Gasol and Swift along with a filler to match salaries ... I do not know about this deal but I think I'd do it .. Webber would give us that go to guy even though he is older, he could come in and play PF on D much better than Gasol because of his size and everyone knows when Webb is healthy he is a star player but health is the question. And in B Jax we would be getting a former 6th man of the year to play in our talented 10 man scheme ... I'd like to see this deal myself! Wright/Outlaw Webber/Cardinal Posey/Battier Miller/Wells Williams/Burks I know the Outlaw/Cardinal positions are probably off but I just wanted to add them .. Where is Watson? He was involved in the Sac Trade :-d Any thoughts/ideas?
Yeah, I love any trade that involves getting rid of your talented young star (and a scrub who is an allstar when he wants to be) for two injury prone players who are past their primes! I also love how the Grizzlies already have three point guards, and how Earl Watson isn't on your line up, and neither is Jackson. (Especially Watson, though. That guy should ride the pine.)

Webber is a has been. Old and washed up. Gasol, as long as he stays healthy is much better than Webber.

The only thing is that the Grizzlies' team right now is good, but nowhere near championship material.. I sincerely doubt that Webber would get you over that hump but I think some kind of trade will have to be made for the Grizz to be true contenders.. All depends on what you're expecting for your team I guess I'd kill to have my Sonics be in the same position you guys are in right now.
They'll be championship contenders soon, and for a long time if they keep the current group together. They just won 50 games, and they were among the youngest teams in the league. Their best players in 24, and the core group were born from '79 - '80. (excluding JDub and Posey, '75 and '77 respectively) While they didn't compete for a ring last year, and won't this year, good things are ahead for this team.
