If Vinces Career as a Raptor was to end today, or before this upcoming season, will you retire his number 15? I posted this here so I can get real Raptor fans opinions. I would, but obviously after he's done player. He put Canada on the map, brought them to the playoffs, and basically symbolizes the Raptors. When anybody thinks of the Raptors, they think of Vince Carter. Thats enough to make me retire his jersey/number.
Hell yeah. He's been the face of the franchise, and he's done alot on and off the court. .. If he leaves no body should be allowed to wear #15.
Absolutely not, unless he can play 5-7 more seasons in a Raptor uniform, keeping his scoring average over 24ppg, and lead them to more than the second round, maybe. But not at this point, especially when 2 years of his career were washed away by injuries. I like Vince, but I'm sorry retiring #15 would be ridiculous.
