Malone will sign with the Lakers.

Malone will sign with the Lakers if he doesnt decide to retire.

"An unrestricted free agent, Divac agreed to a two-year deal that reportedly will pay him $4.9 million for next season.

Karl Malone, who the Lakers hope will re-sign for next season, agreed to take less money if he does play -- enabling Los Angeles to sign Divac at the midlevel salary cap exception.

"Not too many people would do that," Divac said. "I thank him for that, because basically, he brought me back."

Lakers will be the 6th seed but go out in the first round. PERIOD!

And i definately dont agree withthis statement.

Personally i dont think the lakers are looking that bad.

I mean the team is really shaping up.

I believe if the lakers could possibly get somemore aquisitions (highly doubtful) they could do some damage.

gary Payton
Kobe Bryant Kareem rush or george.
Caron butler Fox or George
Luke Walton Karl Malone
Brian grant Divac.

Not too mention there rookies who will remain unameless because i dotn know who they are.

The Lakers are a much better tam this off season. People are denying that because they lost shaq, but they gained depth, youth, and a good passing big man. They up graded. I hated them losing shaq because I am a big fan always liked the guys attitude, but I cant deny they are deep.

i believe possibly they saw how badly they need a bench when playing against the pistons and now that exactly whet athey got.

Malone is a nice guy... He should get a championship.. Next year with Kobe/Odom/Butler/Rush/Walton/Malone/Payton/Grant on there team they shouldnt be too bad..
