when i watched nick van exel on fox on beyond the glory show, he said he would retire if he didn't play in texas next season, since his home is in dallas i think or somewhere in texas and his mom lives close to him as well, probabaly down the street, and he played with the warriors and now is on the jailblazers. yeah right nick, why retire when teams want you and your still making millions? which is why he hasn't.

Yeah I remember seeing that. Why would anybody retire when they're still wanted and still can make millions. Man, I wish the Lakers could've got him back. Oh well.

I wish he would go to a better team. He is too good of a player to be on a team like the Blazers.(no offense to blazer fans) Why isn't the guy playing on a good team where he is working at a championship. The guy should go to the Nuggets, they are the next big thing. But anyway, there plenty of other rising teams that would deeply benefit from him and which he would benefit from them. Pacers? Heat? Hornets? Bobcats? I'm not really stopping and considering the facts on those, they are just ideas, but I don't know why the guy isn't still using his talent in a way he can benefit.

Man, that's my dream. Nick in a Laker uni again! I really wish he could've gone to a better team as well... He was great for the Mavs a few years ago and really helped them out. he could do the same for a contending team now... I also heard that he is considering retiring early becuase he has very bad knee problems.

Unless he gets moved to Houston or Dallas, he'll likely retire...supposedly there are still talks in Houston about trading for him as our PG...

There Was No Way that Van Exel would stay the rest of his Career with the Warriors, and now that he's with the Trailblazers,He's not happy.

Nick Van Exel is a talented Player,it's his attitiude that get's him everytime. If he wan't to retire, that's his business, but he might wanna play still why he has the skills

Could Houston or San Antonio use Van Exel,or even Dallas Again since he wants to stay in Texas??

The days when VE and Ceballos played with the Lakers were some of the best!
