first team pg.stephon marbury sg.kobe bryant sf.carmelo anthony pf.kevin garnett c.yao ming 2nd team pg.jason kidd sg. tracy mcgrady sf.lebron james pf.tim duncan c.shaq oneal
Probably #2. Shaq and Tim Duncan would be too dominant. Yao and KG might be able to hold them off, but they would have their hands full.
definetly 2. kidd is better than marbury tmac and kobe are about the same lebron is better than anthony duncan is better than garnet and shaq is better than yao 4 1/2 to 1/2
I don't need to use the superior logic. I'll just say the 2nd team would win simply because of Shaq's dominance, and Tim Duncan would make matters worse for the 1st team.
Team 2. bad team matchups big time. Oneal and Duncan on the same team with Kidd running the point. Are you kidding?
Team 2. Besides having Shaq and Duncan, they have the most important formula. Team players which=chemistry that =champions.
even though the best player (KG) is on team 1, team 2 would click way better... too many ego's on team 1 (marbury, kobe, and anthony). team 2 consists of players who will do whatever it takes to win, and will therefore have better chemistry as stated by a few guys before me
Team 2 would win in a heartbeat. Duncan and Shaq would grab everything then having Kidd dish in a full court game to T-Mac and Lebron. Worst comes to worse they don't get a dunk in transition, all they have to do now is to post either Shaq or Duncan up on the low block. I mean who will Team 1 rotate off of on defense?
Team 2 baby, they're BEASTS.. The only better matchup that team 1 has over team 2 would MAYBE be KG and TD, since KG is more athletic and he's quicker. But still, T-mac and Kobe are about the same, except for their times of great performance in a game. J-kidd is better than Marbury by a bit. I used to think Lebron wasn't better but i've changed my opinion. Lastly, Shaq can overpower Yao and is much stronger, even if Yao might be able to stop him a bit.
team 2, just cause shaq and his dominance, t-mac with his scoring, kidd probably the best pg in the league, lebron an emerging star, and duncan has 2 mvp's which shows something.
I shifted players to actually make it fair: 1. Kidd Kobe James Duncan Yao 2. Marbury McGrady Anthony Garnett Shaq Who would win?

Quoting Chungster:

I shifted players to actually make it fair: 1. Kidd Kobe James Duncan Yao 2. Marbury McGrady Anthony Garnett Shaq Who would win?
thats actually interesting but I think I would say Team 1 Kidd > Starbury Kobe > T-Mac LeBron = Melo Duncan > KG ( KG had a bettert year THIS YEAR but thats all.) ID much rather have Duncan. Yao<<<<<<<Shaq Even tho it loox like Team 1 has the advantage Shaq and KG would absolutley dominate in the post. SO Team 2
going w/ team 2 again... kidd > steph tmac >/= kobe lebron > melo kg >/= duncan shaq > yao the difference here is in the middle where team 2 has the clear advantage...
This is stupid...especially when you guys compare each player and then come up with conclusions.. It's not gonna be a blowout It can be a tie...It's gonna back and forth..score then the other team scores.... You gotta go with, which team has the better defense since we haven't seen their defense played together before...we are going to have to use their individual defensive skills (which still won't prove which is the better team)...Since it's gonna be a back and forth battle, a race against the clock, that's when Kobe unleashes...So I get team 1...(cuz I got to choose a team). I say out of 10 games it will 5/5......No team is better than the other...We don't know.... Experts conclude lots of things...but it doesn't happen...Lakers winning 70 games, no...Lakers sweeping the Pistons, no...cause they looked at the individual players, and match ups...They also said MJ can't win a ring. It's all about defense (Lakers, perfect example) and chem. PEACE, 04-05 season is gonna be ON FIRE.
When you shifted the players you made team 2 unstoppable LOL. Congradulations you are now the only person to vote for team 1. When Kobe unleashes he'll run into a wall called T-Mac.
