If Williams signs another team's offer sheet, Utah still must decide whether or not it will match to keep the 2003 second-round draft choice. If he cannot find another team to sign him to a sheet, however, Williams still can return to the Jazz for the qualifying salary of $770,046.
The Jazz have no current plans to offer more than the qualifying amount ? chiefly because doing so would amount to bidding against themselves.
Williams has said he wants to stay with the Jazz, but it's believed at least one Eastern Conference team has legitimate interest.</div>

I heard the Heat had interest, but that was before the Shaq trade.

Naw, I dont think the Heat have any futher interest in Mo Williams because they acquired Keyon Dooling last week. But I think the eastern conference team that is interested is my Nets because I read a local newpaper atricle and it said that the Nets were looking for a cheap backup for J.Kidd. And his & Jacque Vaughn name came up as possible solutions that the Nets maybe interested in.

They have to sign Mo back. He brings great energy to every game he plays, if Sloan needs him as a scorer he will look to shoot, if he needs him to be a true PG he will set up other guys, if they need him for defense he will play defense. He's a coaches dream, plus, why would of Utah protect him if they didn't plan on re-signing him.
