Nets hire Kuester as assistant coach

    He worked the previous six seasons as an assistant with the Philadelphia 76ers and the seven before that with the Boston Celtics.

    Kuester played at North Carolina for Dean Smith from 1973-77, going to the NCAA finals as a senior. He played three seasons in the NBA with Kansas City, Denver and Indiana.</div>

    I like John. He was a good coach in Philly. New Jersey shall do well with him. =)
