will there be any big pickups this year? there are some good players in this years free agency, such as(if not resigned)- Plexico Burress, Shaun Alexander, hasselbeck, ect.

Seattle will lose probably two of thier better players in FA. There are a lot of BIG FA out there so you never know.

I don't think the Colts resigned Edge yet. He could go to Miami if anywhere.

I'm wondering who they are going to franchise. Hopefully not Hasselback.

seatte has a delemia. hassleback, walter jones and shaun alexander are all free agents. only 1 can be franchised. My guess will be they try and resign one of them and franchise tag one. Walter jones imo will not be back in seattle.

Same goes for edge .. he will get frachised tagged, which will piss him off and he will hold out. He wants a new deal. The colts are praying for the overall cap to rise to give edge new deal. I hope the nfl doesnt budge it would be funny to see the colts forfit their future for overpaying their qb and wr. No qb is worth what manning gets pays imo.

Jerry porter is a free agent as well.

If they win super bowl, even one, it was worth it, IMO

u guys difintley need wrs. Toomer and ike hillard clearly have lost a step. They dont have that speed thar once possesed to go down field. It showed the last 2 seasons. Giants will be a better team no question .. but it starts with new wrs and o lineman.

Same goes for my bucs. Were in the same boat.

If you thought Wannstedt was loyal to Feidler that IMO is only surpassed by Holmgren's loyalty to Hasselbeck. It would not surprise me to see MH franchised.

I agree Jones is gone. I think Alexander will be resigned despite his comments regarding the rushing title.

Edge may be franchised as well.

Feidler is done in Miami. This just my 2 cents worth; It wouldn't surprise me to see him end up w/ the Giants with the same promise that was given to Warner. After all, JF is from Long Island.

But Tyree and Jammar Taylor look VERY promising! If you saw the Sunday nighter you saw tyree take a dump on dallas. Jammar taylor had in 1 game 2 50 yard catches against pro bowler Lito Sheppard [IMG]

The Packers will lose either Marco Rivera or Mike Wahle to free agency this year. They can't afford to keep both...unless maybe if Favre retires. Without his salary on the books they could keep both.

I'd be a worried AFC fan if Baltimore were to pick up Mushin Muhammad. That's just where I think he'll go and what'll be one of the best free agent pickups of the year, if it was to happen.

If miami picks up edge they could trade down to go after a OL and LB and maybe QB, the free agency market this year could change the draft.

miami has salery cap issues to sign edgrin james.

thing with muhhmad is, he has always been capable its been his health in his nfl career. His numbers this year also came alot due to the fact... he played in steve smith's postion. If steve smith wasnt hurt would mushin of had his numbers?

The ravens would be scary if they get a real offensive cordinater and shit can the highschool offense they run. I bet baltimore uses that first rd pick on wr. Clayton from oklahoma i bet.

    Droughns wants to be traded.
there are also rumors that Travis Henry could play in Arizona next year. The Cardinals could trade a 2nd round pick for him. Henry wanted to go to Miami but they don't have a 2nd round pick, and cant give up any more picks.

Travis Henry is not worth a 2nd round pick, hes a fumbler....teams are better off drafting a back with that pick....

The reason Droughns wants to be traded is because he wants to cash in on his good season. I think it was a fluke, much like Olandis Gary's season. He did the same thing...had one good year, left the Broncos, got a big pay raise and promptly flopped.

Droughns is smart to try to get traded. He needs to cash in now before he loses his starting job to Tatum Bell next year and is never heard from again.

I think a minor/major FA pickup might be Jerry Porter. He isnt very popular, but man ona good offense, he would be a standout
