The East Dynasty. Call me crazy maybe I am but i think within 2-3 years the East will be more Dominant then the West. Either that itl be equal. The Bucks, Pistons, Pacers, Nets(with their 1st rounders). Will contend in a couple of years and teams like the magic and raptors wont be push overs anymore.
first off, i think spurs will be the next dynasty. If FISH didn't make that last crazy fluke shot, then spurs would've beaten the wolves. Tony would be way too quick for cassell. DUNCAN is the best match-up against Garnet. Spree vs bowen, bowen can defend. SO spurs would've gone to finals and who nos, they could've beaten the pistons. Spurs are probably the most efficient team, probably ranked along side the pistons. SPurs all the way, u cant go wrong with the most fundamentally sound player duncan, and of the quickest in parker. There just unbelievable

Fisher's was an all money shot...turnaround, follow-through fade-away. Plus, that wasn't the final game of the series, anyways. The Spurs had no chance once the Lakers started playing tough.

H-Tizzle will bring the next dynasty...TMac and Yao I expect both to resign after their current deals are done (TMac by training camp; Yao by next summer) and I think they'll be the new dynasty in the league...

The Lakers were better than the Spurs this year. Spurs is a dynast in the making.
I hope: Toronto (very unliekly, heh) I doubt it will be miami because they lack many positions.. houston has probly the best odds, watch for pheonix next season
There will be no dynasty anymore. Not at this level of basketball. There are just too many good teams now. I dont think we'll ever see teams dominating for years and years. We call the Bulls a dynasty. But Jordan never passed the torch. The Lakers and Boston are the only real dynasties. Winning championships in different generations of basketball as well as passing the torch to other superstars to continue the tradition of winning. I think people use the word dynasty in the wrong context. There was no damn sucession in Chicago. It was Jordan then nothing else. If there was no Jordan, then Chicago would be, well, just Chicago. Boston's dynasty crumbled after the Larry Bird Era. But I think you can consider them a dynasty. They won over generations of players. Same goes for the Lakers. Here is the literal meaning of Dynasty. You be the Judge. Dynasty:A ruling family who remains in power for generations by choosing successors from among blood relatives. Examples include the rulers of both the ancient Chinese and Egyptian civilizations. 2.A succession of rulers from related families. 3. a sequence of powerful leaders in the same family
ithink the next dinasty is the nuggets i think with melo improving his game and becoming a 25ppg player who can score and be a leader and improve his shoot selection with Kenyon Martin a dominant player a very good defender i think this year with a new game system he can score more and grab more boards Andre Miller can explode like 2 years ago when he was the top passer in nba and with Marcus Camby making his good defense i think the Nuggets can win the championship

I agree with a lot of trenchteam's post, but I'd have to disagree with why there won't be any more dynasties. It isn't because there are too many good teams now, because in fact nowadays the average talent level of each team is lower than it used to be. The reason dynasties are hard to come by is because of how much more competitive teams and their owners are nowadays. Most of them will do pretty much anything to win a championship, especially spend exorbitant amounts of money and pay taxes to get good players. In this generation of unprecedented player movement, it's easy to be an average team one year and a champion the next by having a good offseason, or vice-versa (the Lakers are a good example of this). Players don't really show the same loyalty to their teams and rivalries are no longer as intense- Boozer to the Cavs, a King (Vlade) goes to the Lakers- so it's much easier for teams to acquire top talent from other teams as players just care about the money, not the team name on their chest. I think the Lakers will be the last team in a while to 3peat- I don't really see a team other than maybe the Spurs that can replicate their success.
Ima have to shock some ppl but the net nba dynasty either has too be the Clevland Cavielers, Denver Nuggets, Or LA Clippers. They are all young teams with extradinary gifted players i feel give them a yr. or 2 and we have a dynasty on our hands. Players like Kenyon Martin, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, Shaun Livingston, Luke Jackson, NeNe Hillario, Quetin Richardson, Chris Kaman, Zydrunas Ilgaukas, Andre Miller. How can u not say those aren t future stars in the league
Im gonna go with the Cavs. They have good young guys that should develop into great players like Lebron James, Luke Jackson, Drew Gooden, Desagana Diop, Dajuan Wagner, Steven Hunter, Anderson Verejao, and Sasha Pavlovic. And thay also have great vets in Eric Snow, Jeff Mcinnis, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas and a couple good role players.

The Raptors went to the conference finals and took it to game 7 (which they almost won) with Vince and T-Mac playing together. He did not suck until he went to Orlando. I thought they played well together and if money grew on trees and he had stayed in TO maybe we'd have out own dynasty up here.
SPURS SPURS SPURS SPURS The Spurs have won the 1999 and the 2003 Championships and they have sign Manu to a six year deal have Tim for six, Brent barry for four, bruce bowen for four and have a option on parker to match next year there is no question the Spurs should win more Championships
I'm gonna say Detroit or San Antonio now. But in a few years from now it's either Cleaveland or Nuggets because these 2 teams have dominant young leaders and have made big come-ups in the last year. I also don't see these 2 teams down falling any time soon, I just see them getting better and better each year.
The Nuggets maybe in a few years maybe a year or two, they have a really good team and depth. They just need to get some chemistry. Thats my guess or the Spurs.

You just proved the shot shouldnt even have counted... Back on topic , I may sound biased but I dont think it can be anyone other then the Spurs...once Parker and Ginobili reach their prime the Spurs will be pretty close to unstoppable , RC and Pop will do their job and keep on discovering unknown talent (Gino-56th pick , Parker-28th , S-Jax , etc) , Duncan will stay at or close to the level hes at now since he doesnt rely on athleticism to dominate. After the Spurs (barring any major changes on the teams) , I think it will be either Denver , Houston , and possibly even Utah...those teams still have some holes now so I dont think theyre quite ready yet.
