According to a report out of the MInneapolis Star Tribune newspaper, Mchale let us know that he feel Malone will sign with the Heat.

Regarding the possibility of signing free agent Karl Malone, Timberwolves vice president Kevin McHale said he hears the veteran power forward will sign with Miami.

    Just passing the FYI. Peace

I hope he does sign with the heat. He would help shaq alot in his bid for a championship. Though I believe that it wont happen in my heart. Why would a GM from another team be saying stuff about a player he doesnt even know personally or what is going through his head.

Malone always seemed to me to like kobe better than shaq. Even one time on the best damn sports show he made light of the fact that shaq got a personal trainer to get back in shape. Then he always seemed to support kobe over when people were making fun of him and talking bad about ihm because of the court case.

Malone is a man of his word and if he continues by that he will either remain a laker or retire. Though malone also isnt stupid so you know he knows he has a better shot at a title this year with shaq rather than kobe. He lost alot of peoples respect when he went to the lakers last season to get a title rather than stay in utah. Does he really want to do that again this time to the lakers?

mchale just came outta nowhere with that statement.....if he signed with the heat, he could realy help them, pending he stays healthy

if his goal is a championship then he should sign with the Spurs

wrong again pureskillz...malone has a better shot at winning a title with the lakers...not shaq and the heat...and i am not saying that this is because the lakers have kobe and kobe is somehow a bigger piece of a championship team than shaq...but that miami team has absolutely no depth...and it it unlikely they will be able to fill out that depth...

the laker team has a lot of potential depending on how rudy t is able to run them together, but being a players coach...i believe he'll find a way, and i think this young laker team is gonna surprise a lot of people...

and i agree...if malone wants his absolutely best shot at a title...he should sign with the spurs...

I disagree with you once again. The heat yes have less depth, but they play in the eastern conference. While the lakers play out werst and have to over throw the twolves, spurs, nuggets (improved), and then the possible yao tmac dynasty. You just further proved my point when you said if karl wants his absolute best shot at winning a title he should sign with the spurs. Where do the spurs play? Out west so how would he have a better chance of getting to the finals and winning when having to over throw the spurs with the lakers team to get there.

The Heat arent much better than last year IMO..I dont see how Malone going there would help them win, I think if Malone wants a chip that bad then he should sign with SA or Minny..I dont see Miami winning one before L.A. again, I dont think Shaq will stay as dominant for the while that he is there Wade and Shaq arent as good as Duncan, Parker, and Manu or KG, Sammy, and Latrell, YOu could argue they arent even better then Dre, Melo, and Kmart...

Malone wont affect the outcome of the Heat winning a championship. The Heat are not winning the title next year with or without Malone.

Mam I would lose a lot of respect for Malone. Not because he signed with another team, but because he said that if he was going to sign with anyone, it would be with LA.
