I still think he is gona take a year off and then come back though. Retirement is never official until the person is either passed away. So many coaches have been coming back also players hardaway did it a few years back with indy, jackson last year with houston, MJ all those times, and hubie brown with memphis.

No Phil will definitely be back in less than 4 years. He is striving too bad to win 1 more ring to break Red's record for rings. He is the most competitive coach to ever coach in the league and believe me he'll be back. When he eventually comes back he will probably only go to a team with at least 3 all-stars as well.
I would have liked to see Phil get his 10th ring. I think however, the only way he comes back is if he goes to a team that is a contender. He won't go to a team that he has to rebuild.
