Able the wolves have already said they are they have said they can match any offer starting at up to 4.9 million dollars. Now will they I think not because it will be over paying for him even though they may because he is a great defensive player and a big part of there team defense.
I doubt that the Timberwolves won't match. He is the team's best perimeter defender. He has the offensive skills but just doesn't use it because the team didn't need him to shoot a lot. If they don't, they will need to find a replacement. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Wolves likely won't be able to match the offer. </div> It isn't that they aren't able to match the offer because they still have the MLE to use, which is 4.9 million.
I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing it's the setup for saying Sergio is going to be a future hall of famer
Holding them to 89 and 86 points was obviously our problem I'd like to hear your reasoning on this one Maris.
Bored, waiting for the game, so I was looking back on the board. That and I really got a huge chuckle over the TH Hyperbole back when it happened. The huge buildup by Blazers mgmt, the "signing", the "match", and then TH basically fading into NBA obscurity. Funny how page 291 is March 2003ish with the board being on life support, but pg 251 is last September. Quite a show of force here this season due to BBF's Mod "fopaws" spurring the migration.
God, those were dark days. Thank you Kevin McHale, thank you. Could you imagine if we had Hassell sitting on our bench with that contract?
