I don't believe Dorrel Wright is NBA ready yet, he's only 18 years old and he certainly isn't another LeBron. Rasual has terrible defense though and the only thing he is really good for is instant offense and trey's off the bench, so I really think we'll make another acquisition at SF before the season. Jerome Beasley may even start at PF over Udonis.

If what I'm hearing is true, Malone might be with the Heat next season. If Malone does join with the Heat, then he will give some much needed help at the PF spot. With Beasley and Haslem, that's all you have. Malone would be the starter I think.

My prediction:

PG- Dwyane Wade
SG- Eddie Jones
SF- Rasual Butler
PF- Karl Malone
C- Shaquille O'Neal

Starting Lineup

1-Dwyane Wade
2-Eddie Jones
3-Rasual Butler*
4-Udonis Haslem
5-Shaquille O'neil
*Unless the Heat aquire a veteran SF.

Rasual Butler really showed me alot last season. The guy shot 47% from the field & from the 3 point line! It's very difficult for a player to come off the bench and contribute offensively immediately, but he did. If he strengthens his defense he will surely impress the rest of the league. Plus, with Shaq getting double teamed I expect Rasual to keep nailing those 3's.

I think Udonis Haslem will blossom into a Ben Wallace type hustler. Similar size to Wallace and works his butt off on the boards. I have no problem with him starting.

Jerome Beasley did not impress the Heat during the summer league, so don't look for him to start.

Word is Dorrell Wright will be ready sooner than people think. Must hit the weight room hard though!

I am pleased with the Keyon Dooling addition, I expect him to shine in Miami much like Rafer Alston and Lamar Odom did.

Who do you guys think the Heat will add to complete their roster ???

PF-Karl Malone
SF-Robert Horry
SG- Dwayne Wade
PG- Kenyon Dooling ( I think he can start )

*Dwayne, Kenyon and Eddie I believ should be a 3 man rotation

I think Malone will sign, it's been getting the same buzz like the shaq miami trade got, so hopefully our roster would like like that.

Hopefully Dorell Wright can get in there too, a lot of people say he's young but I think he can hang in there, I mean, he will have the diesel at his side.

Listen to this one guy said

Quoting Bulls423:

Hey Heat fans, congrats on Getting Shaq, but i came here to tell yall about Dorell Wright, i went to school with him at South Kent up in CT (live in chicago, but boarded there) last year so i got to see every single game, and i was in his chemistry class this past fall, anyway the best thing u guys are gonna like about him is his quickness to the basket, his explosiveness is absolutely amazing, and he finds all the open holes, he has a good mid ranger jumper from 13- 18 feet which he usually knocked down every single day at Kent... he is gonna be a stud in a couple years but the only flaw was his work ethic... he didnt give it his all every single day, and when he was in a bad mood it effected the entire team, he hates to lose and it frustrates him like hell, but that is maturity and that comes naturally... and i dont see u guys losing too many games considering u guys got the deisel
http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?topic=258574

I think the new roster looks sweet, we finally have an nba champ, and a finals mvp at that, which will bring experience to this team, and if we get malone, even more experience. 2 experienced and 3 young talented players (or 3 experienced and 2 young talented players, depending if they start Jones and we get Malone), I like what I see. Definetly better than last year's team.

I'm glad the Heat did a overhaul of their roster and kept their star player. [IMG]

Believe me when I say Rasual is a future star in this league. I've played against him throughout high school and I know. He had a good rookie but I feel he has never recieved a full chance to prove himself because he was pretty much shadowed by the over hyped Caron Butler. His 2nd year didn't seem to productive to me most likey because of the fact his minutes were cut down alot. But he is the type of player the longer he is in the game the more he produces, so if Stan was smart he'd rack his minutes up.

PG - Dwyane Wade
SG - Eddie Jones
SF - Rasual Butler
PF - Udonis Haslem
C - Shaquille O'neal

Bench
PG/SG - Keyon Dooling
SF/PF - Toni Kukoc
SG/SF - Dorell Wright
PF/C - Michael Doleac
PF - Malik Allen

I'm hoping we can sign someone like Rodney White, the bench is too weak on the team.
Also Coutney Alexander is another player the management can look at, it doesn't look like NOH wants him back, and he can likely be gotten for cheap.
