The Hornets should change their team name

    I feel a lil wierd being a Hornets fan for as long as I was to not kinda root for them. They should change it to like the New Orleans Gators or the New Orleans Crawdads or somethin. Its just strange to hear the hornets without the Charlotte attached to it. Is george shinn still the owner of the team? If he is you new orleans fans just better go find a new team cuz he sucks.

    WellI don't think they are going to change their name anytime soon. The Hornets isn't that bad.

    Well that's like saying Utah should change their name and give it back to New Orleans. Anyway, it's no big deal. It's not like "Hornets" had any major factor on the city of Charlotte, besides what I heard about Charlotte being called a "nest of hornets" by British General Cornwallis during the Revolutionary War. That's a few tidbits of history for those of you who didn't know...

    Anyways, I doubt we'll see the Hornets remain in New Orleans for long. As bad as ticket sales and attendance were last season, they could be the franchise moving to Las Vegas. Las Vegas Hornets... How does that sound?
