    Note: Last year Duncan played in the Olympic trials while KG didn't. Guess who got injured during the season and wore down in June? And guess who won the MVP and had his best season of his career?
    </div>

    Charles Barkley played in the 1992's olympic and won the 1993 mvp award.
    Karl Malone played in the 1996's olympic and won the 1997 mvp award.
    Your point doesn't make any sense. There is no correlation between playing the the olympic and winning the mvp award. Tim Duncan didn't lose the mvp because he was wored down by olympic. He lost it because he wasn't good enough.

    BTW-You can't learn much from sitting on the bench. He's not gonna play much. You can go ask Nick Collison how much he "learned" and "played" in the last Olympic trials. [IMG] [IMG]
    </div>
    Emeka will get plenty of playing time during the blow out games. He will also have time to work at his game during practice. No matter what, this is still a better learning experience than playing against a group of subpar players in the summer league.

    You're too easy Enitials. Stick with just being a "fan".
    </div>
    Too easy for what? You didn't disprove or debunk anything I had to say. All you did was show everyone on this board your ignorance of the Nba. [IMG]

    Actually, I think all of his posts are equally stupid. [IMG]

    Emeka's Offerings

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Hello, Bobcats fans. I?m here in Jacksonville, Florida with the Olympic Team. I?m just sitting here grabbing a late lunch after today?s practice. I twisted my ankle a little bit yesterday in practice, but I woke up this morning and it felt a lot better. So, I?m not worried and it?s nothing to be alarmed about. I want to get out there and play again. But they?re being cautious because it?s so early in the training. Today, I went to the doctor, but it was just precautionary so you shouldn?t worry.</div>
    Okafor says his ankle feels fine which is also what he said about his back... So we'll have to wait and see.

    I already tried it changes the heading inside the thread, but not out side of it for some reason. If a mod is reading this is there any thing you guys can do to help? It is kind of annoying, but what can I do I tried editing it.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Lol, he'll have 2 months to get ready before the season starts.</div>

    Again, then why did the Bobcats NOT want him to play? I'd think they know what's best for him than a guy in a JBball forum. [IMG]

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">This is one of stupidest posts ever. You think Duncan got injured because of the trials? He still had a stellar season and lead the Spurs to the playoffs. And you think KG had an MVP type season because he didn't play in the trials? Right, it had nothing to do with working hard and being determined.</div>

    Funny, cause KG said he didn't want to play in the trials cause he thought it would wear him out. I'd think KG would know more about himself than a guy in a JBball forum. [IMG]

    Another question. Why did so many all-stars decline to join them??

    1) National Security
    2) It wears players out.
    You're being naive if you don't think that. [IMG]

    Wow, you actually backed up your statements for once. You're learning, my son. Good job! You get a sticker now. :mrgreen:

    Hmmm. What will be more competitive, subpar players playing for contracts and their careeers, plus the rookies or a bunch of All-Stars practicing for games they are expected to win anyhow. Keep in mind, A.I is in this team. Yea, he "loves" to practice. [IMG]

    LMAO. This is what you call, "Pot calling the kettle black". I wish some of the peeps from the Magic forum could've read this. This is comical stuff. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Yup, that Okafor is really learning out there. Has he played yet? [IMG]

    Actually yes...and he'll be above Dwight Howard on the list for the World Championships and the 2008 Olympics because he's got the international experience. Looks to me like he's got alot more experience, actually...compare Howard to Okafor for a second.

    Howard: a couple of good things is that he can play SF/PF and he used to be a guard...and he's got good handling and he's quick and a nice leap (due to being a guard)...now, here's the bad...lacks low post game, so he can't play center...he drifts towards the perimeter, causing him to take bad shots...he picks up easy fouls when he gets into the game...no college experience, no Olympic experience, and he'll never get the ball playing with Francis, Cato and Mobley

    Okafor: one of the best low-post players to come out of college in a long time, good footwork, good work ethic...a developing jump shot...shares the ball from the post, and gets others involved...a Big Ben-type player on defense, but with more offense...Olympic experience...a National Champion, leading his team to victory...a lifetime opportunity, like a Jordan-esque opportunity, to take a team with nothing and turn it into everything...the bad is he can't shoot free throws (Shaq, anyone?) and had one injury in college that has not bothered him since

    Point is...Okafor > Howard.
