"How can you say that? Missing 100 games ... that's not bad. In fact, that's pretty good," Robinson said. "Last year, I missed 40 games (including a three-game suspension) and that was probably my worst season as far as injuries go.

"I'm usually healthy and playing at least 30-38 minutes a game."

"I feel like I'm older, but the older you get, the smarter you get," Robinson said. "I don't have the 35- or 40-inch vertical anymore. I don't elevate and shoot over people like I used to. I've got to pump fake a little more now, try to get to the free-throw line, maybe get a couple buckets in transition, grab an offensive rebound and score.

"Just do things a little differently."</div>

Glenn, please try and do things diffeerently, a lot differently! He goes on talking about how he would like to be an all-star next year, with two bruised elbows, hurt ankles, and an aging body he sure will be. This guy has too much confidence in himself and is trying to say the right things to stay in Philadelphia, but it just might not be enough.

I dont think he can go a full year healthy for the sixers any more imo. He is becoming what jerry stackhouse is now a good player in the past but after a few injuries you dont know what to do with him any more you cant trade him for much because no teams wants him.

Then you dont want to trade him for to little because then he may have a miracle season staying healthy and prove you wrong for trading him. Thank god that he comes off the sixers pay role next year is all I have to say. I was a big supporter when we got him from the hawks, but since the domestic violence suspension by the nba and the injuries and bad attitude in philly I dont wan tto hear anything about the guy and the words sixers or philly ever again.

I am hoping we trade him this off season or before the febuary trade deadline because if we fail to we have to finish the year with him and though we get him off our cap we lose any hope of making a decent trade to get a second scoring option for AI. Plus why I am hoping he leaves before the seaosn is if he goes down with an injury he cant be traded because he wont be able to pass the physical for his new team.

Well at least he's keeping his head up unlike Coleman. Coleman knows he's lazy no good bum, but instead he shows no signs of rejuvenating himself while Robinson still has hopes in becoming an All-Star which isn't too farfetched IMO.

Coleman is unable to keep his head up, the guy is a goner, has been for years. Once you get in a slump for a couple of years in professional sports, it is very hard to make a comeback, even one as a role player.

How can colman keep his head up? Robinson knows he will have a job with the team next season and has a guarenteed deal for at least another year while coleman has been told already his contract will be bought out and he is not part of the teams plans next season.

Each guy has a different situation I dont think that coleman is lazy, but his injury history and his age are catching up to him and there is not much he can do. Everyone eventually slows down there game with age even some of the greats like scottie pippen havent looked so great the last few years.

I believe that coleman may rejuvenate him self after his contract is bought out and he knows if he will be in the nba next year and what team he will be playing for. I actually kind of feel bad for the guy he along with AI was givin an extension last off season actually he was resigned while AI got an extension now he is being waived. I wish him the best were ever he goes.

Exactly, that's why we shouldn't think of Robinson comments as nonsense. Robinson had one bad season, so making a comeback after one miserable season shouldn't be anything he can't do. If anything I have faith in Robinson, whether he just steps up his scoring I'll be fine with that. His scoring ability is what landed on the roster in the first place.

Sure but he has been injury prone throughout his career, and this was his worst one. Who knows what will happen in the seasons to come and if he'll still be with the team, but the fact is that he will have the injury bug around him more and more as he ages more and more. This is a liability in my opinion, because what do we have if we have a scorer who is hurt, or is on the verge of getting hurt again. So I say trade him, get a solid scorer and a guy that is in better physical shape.

It's no so much on his willingness to play, and to do things differently. Even if he does try to it will not happen. He doesn't have a trainer, said so himself, and I'm unsure if he ever had one. That is the problem, when you are a professional athlete you need someone to take care of you physically and emotionally. All of these things tie in to the playing field, and in order to play good he must be in good physical shape. Which he is not in at the moment.

Hopefully if he thinks he will be an all star he will be working on his game this off seaspn, its a good thing that he has a positive attitude but it doesnt mean anything if he doesnt backk it up.

He can score, but I dont think he will ever be a good number two option for AI and the sixers oirginization because he has a bad attitude and thinks he is better than he really is. He cosiders himself a all star after having a injury writled year with the sixers and missing alot of games with the hawks the season before as well?

He also does not play defense at all. That is what got van horn on phillies bad side some time she would let the offensive player just go by and think it didnt matter that he wasnt playing defense as long as he made up for the basket on offense later thats how robinson plays imo.

I lost all faith in him after this season and do hope he gets traded. His scoring is good, but it comes with to much down side. No defense, bad attitude, and to much of him thinking he is better than he really is getting him in trouble. Also I am not crazy about the guys off the court history of domestic abuse and all that.
