With Gordon, Heinrich, Crawford, Curry, Chandler, and others I think the Bulls will have a fantastic season. But the main concern...will they make the playoffs? With tough competition from the Pistons, Heat, Nets, and Sixers, its gonna be hard but i think they can what do you think?
Considering that it is very unlikely that Crawford will be there, I think you can just kinda scratch his name off the list. But, I think it's possible that they could make the playoffs. They have a lot of young talent and two big men that are going to get better. I think it's very possible. It really depends on if they stay healthy and if they play together and finally up to their potential. But, I don't think Playoffs is too much out of the distance.
People were talking about the playoffs last year because of Curry and Chandler. They improve their games every single year, but they also disappoint at the same time. They have yet to live up to their full 'potential' and rumors have been circulating about their futures with the franchise. It's rather easy to make it in the playoffs in the east compared to the west, however, I doubt the Bulls will make it. They just don't have enough depth and talent to compete with the top teams. However - Kirk and Gordon are the bright futures for the franchise. If they play great basketball, the Bulls could possibly slide up into playoff contention.
I still dont think they are there yet one of the Bulls best players(Jamal Crawford) is most likely leaving the team and they will need another player to pick up his scoring load. Another thing is the Bulls dont really have a leader of the team and all of their players are young players until they get some leadership I dont seem them making it to the play offs this year, but they are getting there. I would give them maybe one or two more seasons to make the playoffs,if they dont they should try and move some players.
The Bulls actually do have leadership, well, kind of. Kirk Hinrich, though young, is a great on-court leader. He went through 4 years of college with Roy Williams and he really does know how to run the point in the NBA. To me, he is a great leader for the Bulls and he has a great future for them. Also, if Duhon gets signed, I feel that he could be a great leader. However, the only problem with each of them is the fact that they're each young. Hinrich is only in his 2nd year and Duhon will be a rookie. It is, at times, hard to call such a young player the leader of your team. But, to prove that a young guy can lead a team, look and Melo and Bron last year. Also, look how good the Bucks were after they lost T.J. Ford. They weren't nearly as good. So, just because you're young, doesn't mean you can't be a good leader.
Everyone was let down last year cause of high expectations. I say this year if we keep Jamal Crawford, we will make the playoffs. Cause I think of it as we're the same team as last year but wer'e upgraded. If Jamal doesnt come back, then it's harder to predict.

I think that, if anyone on the Bulls roster can lead them, it is Kirk. He was the leader of the Kansas squad he was on, and damn good one at that. He was the oncourt leader for them last year, and, to me, didn't do too bad of a job. I think he is very capable of being the leader of that team. He has all the skills and qualitites to do it I think.
right now current roster in place iam not sure. remember most rookies take at lest half a season to adjust. don't forget mad paxson he will do something crazy to shake up the roster, mabey tyson, davis, cawford, etc. who knows with pax. IF is a big word when used on curry, tyson,& ben. if someway they can find it in there heart & mind to play consistent.we will have a chance. first round exit here we come.
Each year they are suppose to make the playoffs but never do, but this year I think they will grab the 8th seed.
If the Bulls keep JC they will make the playoffs, if they lose him i still think they have a shot at the playoffs, though it would be a lot harder because crawford is their main scorer. the bulls have a good team this year and even if they don't make the playoffs, they should be really exciting and fun to watch..
yeah i agree without JC they are going to need some big time scoring but on the Filp side they might get the ball in to Curry and Chandler a little more so that might help the bulls post develop a little faster. "Playoffs" "Playoffs" "Playoffs" I'm just looking forward to game one. ( but i do have faith in them)
You people seem to be counting them out because they won't have Crawford most likely. I think they have a good chance either way, as long as they stay healthy. If both Chandler and Curry stay healthy, they could be good. I don't see losing Jamal as a tremendous loss because they did get Gordon, and I believe Gordon will be able to contribute right off the bat. So, even if we lose Jamal, I'm not at all worried. I think Ben can take it, and, it also will give more touches to Tyson and Eddy, and that could be a good thing, as long as they continue to improve their offensive games. So, just because they lose Jamal, doesn't mean it's the end of the world.
Well, it's a possibillity, but i'm not gonna guarantee that Chicago makes the playoffs like i did last year. With a lineup that will probably look like: PG-Kirk SG-Gordon SF-Nocioni PF-Tyson C-Curry 6th-Pargo 7th-Deng 8th-Davis 9th-Mutumbo 10-Anderson 11-Johnson III 12-Harrington or Mario Austin And later in the season Jay Williams will break the rotation (This is of course, assuming the Crawford trade happens, but lets continue to cross our fingers that it doesn't happen) I think the playoffs are in reach this season with that lineup. Nocioni looks very promising from what I've read and what people have been saying about him, Kirk will do very well from the beginning, with more options on offense to pass to. Gordon is a very good candidate for ROY, Tyson Chandler has been working hard this offseason (or so I've heard...) and Eddy has lost some weight, and is in better (but not great) shape now. Entirely possible, really.
Possibly but I really don't think so. I would like to see them back there though because I hate seeing teams like the Celts, Hornets, and the Bucks in it every year.

I think that it's possible, maybe even likely. I think that the reason no one can say for sure is because it relies so heavily on the health and level of play of not only the Bulls' rookies, but also Chandler and Curry. If Deng, Gordon, Chandler and Curry all live up to their expectations this year (and it's pretty likely that will happen), this team should have no problem getting to the playoffs.
