Well there are rumors swirling that Toronto offered Vince and Jalen to NO's for Jamaal Magloire, P.J. Brown, and Cash but it still doesnt work..will be very interesting to see where this leads too..

lol that NO trade rumour probably was started by some 10 year old vince fanatic who wanted to see Vince in New Orleans puke green uniform.

I've been saying this since the first time the "Carter wants a trade" rumour came about: Vince is staying throughout the whole off-season.

Araujo could make or break our team with his play as a rookie. Let's hope he does well.

Vince being back for sure certainly delights me. I have never wanted him to be gone and the Skip/Vince/Rose trio would be fun to watch. The Raptors look real strong for the East heading into next season.

Bosh should fit into a trio, Skip would make it a quartet. Yes I finally feel safe about the VC jersey i gambled on to buy earlier this month.

If Peterson is matched like the reports indicate, the Raptors will have one of the deepest benches in the league, if not the deepest. A season ago we couldn't even dream of Alvin Williams, Donyell Marshall, Morris Peterson all coming off the bench.. Hopefully Lamond Murray will show that he's still holding his ground and Jerome Moiso can show a little bit of something too.. Because if those 2 can perform like they are capable of, the Raptors 10 man rotation is set. Even if injury bugs bite, Roger Mason Jr. can provide some decent minutes off the bench looking back at his summer league performance.

I know this is off topic, but I had to reply to your post.

    Two words: Fan bias.

The Raptors have a weak bench, or certainly not a strong one and to say that it is one of the strongest benches in the league is absurd. The reason is simple: expectations are too high and there is too much "hope" for the Raptors bench. Fans hope Mo Pete can be consistent, fans hope Roger Mason can play well, fans hope Jerome Moiso can actually put some effort in his game, fans hope Lamond Murray will get back on track to what he was 3 seasons ago, fans hope Alvin Williams can stay healthy. You can't claim we have a deep bench untill its proven.

    bias aside...
i think that if Alvin stays healthy... with Rafer, that's a nice rotation at the 1... Alvin can slide to the 2 at times, and can rotate with Jalen and Mo (assuming he, indeed, stays)...

Looking back at some raptors rewind games... Lammond definitely had a little bit of game when he had a shred of confidence (handles, decent shot (FG% was down... but not as bad until he started getting benched), and actually tried on D... at the start of the season)... so with him providing a little relief for Vince and Mo Pete... that's a steady rotation of the 1,2,3...

You got your starter in Bosh... Donyell off the bench... if he can respond with similar effectiveness, that's a great rotation at the 4...

and the jury's still out on our center... did we make the right draft pick? can Moiso actually do something for himself or the team??

So with the exception of the 5... i think our depth chart looks pretty good... and I'm certainly confident and optomistic about this year (although, admittedly, I am every year)...

Our bench is weak. It is nothing compared to San Antonio's or Sacramento, Detriots or Indiana, all contenders. However, the Lakers didn't have a strong bench last year but they made the finals..in the west. It does help to have kobe, shaq, payton and malone in the starting lineup. I guess that's hoping too much out of skip, vince, rose, bosh and arujo.

^So..Just becuase our bench is better doesn;t mean we'll do better. A lot of teams in the east..except NJ..have improved way more than than the raptors did. I want to feel good about this team but I am not sure they have wat it takes to make the playoffs.
