Magic Johnson and Kareem Rush, were on Jimmy Kimmel live yesterday. Magic said their is a high chance that Karl will stay. He said he has a nice relationship with Kobe, and his wife and kids like LA. Also, he said that Malone wants to play because last year he was robbed my injuries and did not play to his full potential/didn't play in the Finals. Malone in the line-up is a big plus, if it happends!!!

Karl pushed for the Lakers to get Vlade..there shouldnt be any problems there...I think he will be a Laker or a Spur..I dont think he would go to Miami..

If he would agree to it, he would be a great reserve. They could have Divac, Grant, Odom, Bryant, and Payton start and on the bench they would have Malone, Butler, Rush, Medvedenko, Walton, Vujacic, and George. If that happened, the Lakers would actually be a pretty good, deep, relatively fast, relatively tall, and relatively young team. The only problem would be the lack of a true backup center. I say we trade George for a draft pick or something and try to sign a free agent center.

Did you see on Jimmy Kimmel when Rush was missing all those shots? Hahahaha. He didn't even hit the backboard on some of them. Then that old white dude made it on his second try.

damn, i didn't get to see it.

why would malone be a reserve?? if malone does resign the lineup should be like this:
    PG - gary payton
SG - Kobe (if found not guilty)
    SF - Lamar Odom
    PF - Karl Malone
    C -Vlade Divac

and their bench would also get better with Grant, Butler (6th man), Rush, Medvedenko, Walton, Brian Cook, and George.

They might not want to risk Malone getting injured.
