<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Orlando Magic fans won't have to wait long this coming season to cheer -- or jeer -- Tracy McGrady. Traded by Orlando to the Houston Rockets this summer, T-Mac returns to face the Magic on Oct. 23 in an exhibition game at TD Waterhouse Centre, according to several league sources. Sources also say that the Magic will get a double dose of Shaquille O'Neal -- another of their departed superstars -- during the preseason. The Magic take on Shaq's Miami Heat on Oct. 15 in Tampa and then on Oct. 27 at TD Waterhouse Centre to close out the seven-game preseason schedule. The rest of Orlando's itinerary was not known. The NBA's preseason and regular-season schedules will not be released until next week.</div> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Meanwhile, the Magic are expected to sign veteran forward Stacey Augmon to a one-year contract. Augmon, who turns 36 on Sunday, has also been talking to the Chicago Bulls. He recently spoke with New Orleans teammate and former Orlando guard Darrell Armstrong about joining the Magic. Augmon is known for his defense, and will provide depth at the small-forward position.</div> Full Story
Augman is a good player that provides vet leadership to the team as well as a pretty good defender aquiring him, cato, and battie this off season have taken the magic to another level. Not to mention francis and mobely being under rated perimeter defenders as well. As far as tmacs return goes it will be fun to say the least to see the peoples reaction to him in orlando. Will they cheer him boo him or what will they do. As far as shaq goes I am glad we will be facing him in the pre season twice because pre season games dont count for anything and it gives our players and our defense a chance to see what shaq has done over this off season and players like howard a chance to experence what they should expect from shaq in the regular season. Hopefully no one gets injured.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dpballers913:</div><div class="quote_post">What a great magic fan </div> I do want the magic to win but I also want Tmac to score 50 on us. That's why I will be wearing my ORLANDO tmac jersey.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Martin:</div><div class="quote_post">Only T-Mac can drop 50 and let his team lose </div> That happened only once and it was against the nuggets. Tmac did miss the game winning shot but nobody ever talks about the five 3 pointers he made in a row to keep his team in the game in the 4th quarter. I would say something bad about Iverson but having him as your favorite player is insulting enough.
LOL,I have to but that line in my sig! Still,I think there are more haters than homies for T-mac in the house.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Martin:</div><div class="quote_post">Only T-Mac can drop 50 and let his team lose </div> It's hard to win when you are the only one who can score. 50 points won't win a game. He's in a better situation now in Houston.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Einitials:</div><div class="quote_post"> I would say something bad about Iverson but having him as your favorite player is insulting enough. </div> That is a ignorent thing to say considering AI has been rookie of the year, all star mvp, league mvp, and named olympic captin while tmac has done none of those things. Its ignorent to say a comment that targets every user on JBB that has AI as his/her favorite player when you have an issue with one. AI also is third all time in the nba in point average for his career. He has lead the league in steals several years straight and he has gotten out of the first round unlike tmac who has not. He has also lead his team to a finals appearence.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ball Hog:</div><div class="quote_post">It's hard to win when you are the only one who can score.</div> You don't need to tell me that,I know it myself,AI didn't have nobody else on the team who could score in 2000-01 but he was able to win thanks to hustle plays that Magic lacked last season.
If I were a Magic fan IM boing him,he basically ditched the Magic just because they had one bad seasonk, and I dont think its right, the only reason the Magic traded him is because he would have left by free agency after this season like Shaq did.
I'm thinking of going to the Houston-Orlando game in the regular season just to boo T-Mac. He's worthless as far as I'm concerned after what he did this past off-season.
Why would T-Mac want to stay on a team that has pretty much nothing. A great player like him would want to win and being on that team will not win. If he wasn't traded, the Magic would be worse than they are now. Francis, Mobley, and Cato will be able to help the Magic more than T-Mac could.
I'm not saying that. I'm saying, if T-Mac wants to known as the true legends of the game then lead a team to a Championsip. Or at least the NBA finals. He's gonna be the C.Drexler to Ming's Hakeem in Houston IMO.
