The Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots have a chance to accomplish a feat that has been accomplished just 6 times since the merger....its a pretty amazing accompishment when you think about it....your job is to name that FEAT!!!!!!! Bearsfan1 is not eligible because we talk about this sort of thing a lot and he would get it in about 15 seconds, everyone else is welcome to participate....
No....think much grander....to clarify though, Pitt and NE each have the chance to accomplish this on thier own....and this should screw you guys up a little more, Pittsburgh can do it even if they lose next week, NE would have to win....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (MysteryMan)</div><div class='quotemain'>Number of Championship wins??????????</div> Horrible guess
As expected, BF1 nailed it on the 1st try....I can't believe no one has gotten this, its a fantastic team accomplishment and its only happened 6 times since the merger and 2 teams could still do it this season....Ill be dissapointed if no one else gets it....
16 wins in a season? While that can happen, its not what Im looking for.... 3 Super Bowls in 4 years? That certainly hasnt happened 6 other times, I think its only happened once.... 1st rookie to win a Super Bowl? Every team thats won a Super Bowl likely had at least one rookie on the roster.... im only looking for a single team accomplishment, both the Patriots and the Steelers have a chance to do, its not seperate things, they have the chance to do the same thing....Im gonna list the 6 teams that have done it as a clue to see if it helps.... 1.1972 Miami Dolphins 2.1973 Miami Dolphins 3.1976 Oakland Raiders 4.1982 Washington Redskins(although it was a strike shortened season) 5.1990 New York Giants 6.1991 Washington Redskins All 6 of those teams accomplished this one amazing feat, name it!!!!!
if that was it then the Pats would have already done it cause they arent playing at home again this season. i have no clue but thats definatly not it
Well, I thought that I had it.... But then no. I was going to say that each of those teams went undefeated (or did not lose) out of conference for the entire season (including the Super Bowl). The 1990 Giants didn't fit the pattern since they lost ot Buffalo in the regular season... Now my head hurts even worse.

Well, the 71 Cowboys beat all AFC comers too. So, I may be on the right track, but I don't think that I'm moving...
