I was watching the Detriot vs Toronto summer league game, the first I've seen. [IMG] *damn work*

    Man is Araujo BIG!

He likes to step away from the basket far too much. Jim Todd is known for his work with big men, hopefully he can get Hoffa to start using his size and develop his footwork. I think he DOES have great potential (though I hate that buzz phrase, screw potential....gimme results!)

I would love to see Kevin Willis back, he would be cheap, he loves the city, and he is STILL in great shape...and can mentor Araujo.

OR Isaac Austin....didn't play at all last year....he should be REAL cheap as well!

    thoughts??

i agree with everything you said in that post, the thing i noticed about the raptors, they are too picky with there big men, so they end up paying them billions of dollars and they get screwed in the end (Hakeem), let Araujo develop.
but i did notice that araujo had about 10 fouls in each summer league game he played, and he never really hit 10 points and 10 boards. i dont kno if this kid is going to get much better, but its all a matter of us having to wait and see

    -Billions no, but Millions yes.
-10 fouls in each game no, but in one game yes.
-He DID get a double double with 18 boards, 10 points versus the Sixers, all in 23 minutes of action. http://www.nba.com/media/timberwolves/TORPHI_040708.pdf
