While getting Travis Henry would be great, I don't think it will happen. I guess its okay for Buffalo to acquire someone from within in the division via trade but giving a player up isn't.

I think Konrad & Minor are gone. Ruben Droughns of Denver & Ronnie Brown from Auburn will be more than adequate replacements.

It seems like all the available RBs are tripping all over themselves to get to Miami....I guess its a combination of the weather and the wide open position....I think Edge and Alexander may both get free and if they do, I want Alexander....

well yea of course u want alexander, but i mean do u think he'll leave seattle. anyway i hope you get him that fumble diving for the TD at the 1 gave the Jets a real boost in that game. no but seriously hes great idk if he'd leave seattle. maybe edge if teh colts dont give him an outragous contract and screw their team even more, droughns is good and idk who you'd trade for henry. idk anythin is better than minor and co

Sure, but you're not going to get him. Don't worry though, Henry will suffice.

actually rumors are saying that the Bills want a 2nd rounder and the Dolphins dont have a 2nd rounder and i dont think they can give up anohter pick. But Arizona seems like they are ready to trade their 2nd rounder to the Bills. Thats wat the latest rumors are about him

I have seen a possible solution. There is a kid named Betterson (?) from Troy St. He impressed me in an all-star game a few weeks ago & appears that he may be Hula Bowl MVP - at least in the early going.

He can probably be selected in 4th round.

His name is DeWhitt Betterson, he has good size at 6-0, 218....I have never seen him play, but Saban has because Troy St played and nearly won at LSU this year....

Shaun alexander had more yards and Tds last year, but he is not a good pass catching back and lacks the versatility that Edge has. Now Beef (The new vanilla one) does not like versatility in his backs, they should only be able to run between the tackles, and if they do other things that help the team win they should be cut.

Thats right Strawberry....i mean wrong....I dont mind a back that can catch it, but I dont like over running production....I want my back to be an outlet reciever and good on screens, but I dont want to be flexing him out or making him an early read in the progression....I prefer Alexander because he is more physical and doesnt have the injury history....i prefer a drafted back becasue they are cheap and a lot of them can get the job done....remember my philosophy, hand it to backs, throw it to WRs....occasionally hand it to a WR(liek a reverse) and occasionally throw it to the back....

Throwing to the back is a vanilla staple, an offense with flava' throws the ball down the field....

Doing the same thing everytime is vanilla, the ability to change what your doing and mix it up, that is "the flava"

When we played the Cover-2 with both of us taking the deep half of the field, it was usaully obvious who was at fault if it was a long TD....so many times one of us has given up a big play and then had the other one pick off the next pass to preserve the score....we rarely have to say anything about who was at fault, because we already know....one unwritten rule though, anytime we get burnt while making a strong aggressive play, no blame is applied....if we rough the punter because we are inches from a block, its a just a good agressive play, if we rough the QB because we are just a second late with the hit stick, thats just a good agreesive play, and if we leap to pick off a pass that sails over our head and goes for a TD, thats just a good aggressive play....Now that we have shifted to the Bears 4-6 defense(so fun to play by the way), we rarely have a deep zone to cover, so we can take more chances and make a lot more agressive plays but it does lead to some mistakes, they just dont become TDs....its rare for one of us to give up a long anything, but when we do, we just go on....

However, if it was a pass down the middle of the field, i would secretly blame him [IMG]

On the alexander / Edge situation I have a feeling you should start looking elsewhere. Edge is tagged. I hear hasselback is close to being signed. Walter Jones is signed, which leaves seattles tag for Alexander

I realy dont want either, Id rather start over with a cheap drafted back, you can get a ready to play back easier than you can get a ready to play player at any other position....

Especially the back you want. All he has is one skill so there wont be people beating down his door. Unfortunately for you, the type of back in linehans offense is a speed back, not a between the tackles back
