Are the Raptors doing anything right now to get a good supporting cast for vince? Are they working on signing or trading for anyone? If next season is gonna be like last season..
I have a good feeling the Raptors are going to do better than last year. I'm not going to be like most of the raptor fans and overrate them, because it has happened to me too many times. I personally think the Raptors bench is not all that deep yet, but with Donyell and Alvin being in that second unit, the bench will produce more points. There are also a few hopefuls that we can see finally reach their potential like Roger Mason Jr. who lit it up during the summer leagues but the playing environment in the summer leagues are a lot different from the regular season games. I would say the supporting cast is not all that bad. It still will not rank them in the top 10, but it's not beyond the #20 ranking. Vince is obviously the franchise player, now around him you got Chris Bosh, a rookie sensation who is bound to improve into an all-star one day and hopefully be the franchise in a 4-5 years, if not sooner. Then you got the present-second option player in jalen rose. He is not what he used to be back in his Pacer days, but He is still a good contributer to the team. There are also pretty decent players on the team like Rafer Alston, Donyell Marshall, and Rafael Araujo, who could be like Erick Dampier getting around 10-10 one day. I can't guarantee a playoff spot for the raptors at this point because I do not know where Vince stands in this whole trade-demand situattion, but I can guarantee that it will not be the same season as the last. The role players are not that bad.
i thnik they can make the playoffs with the team they have now. (if vince and rose dont go down again). the have a great starting line and they have williams and marshall curry and murry of the bench i dont know why they didnt use them last season. oniel was so stupid he played glover one game he had a good game then he never played him a gain and the say with strickland anyways with martain nd kittles off the nets they arent gunna b as dominant as they were. and with the hornets going to the west that leaves about 2 spaces which i tihnk they can take one
