yeah, i wanna hold off until all the free agents are signed...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Banks:</div><div class="quote_post">Well I didnt put the Bucks there for a few reasons. Mike James is their starting PG for the first few months or so. Again, Mike James. Secondly they lost Skinner who was a huge lost in their limited inside game. And lastly, I don't think Van Horn will last at the PF if he's to start there. And if he's going to start at SF, then Mason wouldnt be starting, which is wrong.
    </div>

yeah, and it also should be taken into account that they lost one of their lead voices in the locker room and on the bench... in assistant-coach and now Raps head Sam Mitchell... let alone the fact that the man who held it down [Jones] in Ford's absense is a FA, and looking elsewhere.
Last I read... Ford wasn't even expected to be back for the start of the season...

Funny how Ace worded that... Kwame broke a bone in his foot last week in a pick-up game... going under the knife on Tuesday...
I don't forsee post-season action for the Wiz...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting pgrudo00:</div><div class="quote_post">Pretty funny predictions [IMG] that I think are totally off. I love how NY is at the 4 spot it's hilarious, Orlando is at 5 spot, lol, and that you have Chicago in the 9 spot above the 76ers. NY will be mediocre just like Philly and Chicago will be most likely dead last again. Another funny thing is that you don't see Boston in front of the Bulls? NBA.com actually has Knicks at 18th and Bulls at 28th.

    My Predictions :
    1. Detroit
    2. Indiana
    3. Miami
    4. Milwaukee
    5. Philadelphia
    6. Cleveland
    7. New York
    8. Boston</div>

What are u ppl smoking!...First off Chicago, abd cleveland will notmake the playoffs...and if orlando makez the playoffs they will be eight seed. Indiana will be worst than last year witout harrington but they still will be good.
Heres wat os REALLy gonna happen.

    1. Detroit (Wallace x 2, Rip, Billups, Prince)
    2.Miami (Shaq, Wade, Wright, Jones)
    3. Indy (O'neal,Miller,Tinseley,Jackson, Foster)
    4. Raptors (Jalen Rose, Vince Carter, Chris Bosh, Rafer Alston, Marshall, Alvin Williams, Rafael Araujo.)
    5.Boston (Pierce,Jefferson,allan,west,atkins, lafrents,blount)
    6. Philadelphia ( iverson, igoudala, dalembert, salmons, green, ollie, mckie)
    7. Milawaukee ( Redd, Mason, Ford, i dunno the rest)
    8. Orlando or New York( if NY doesnt do anything in the offseason...they're done!!!

Wow, Cleveland is crap all of a sudden. You must of frogot how well the Cavs played last season. They actually can replace Boozer with Gooden since most of his points came off assists and transition points. Add the fact that they have Eric Snow who averages 9apg in 48 mins. He's a very solid point who is overlooked. The team is very athletic and that can do wonders on the defensive end.

The Cavs were shorthanded at the beggning of last season, but they played very well after the trade. They'll be better.

cavs will do well, but when i say well I mean that they could grab a 7th or 8th seed in the East...they for sure arent gonna pass up the 6th seed.

Theyre not better than the Knicks or the Bucks.

Even though Drew Gooden is a replacement, he will not be as effective as Boozer

Unless you think Gooden will clean up the boards like Boozer and Score about 13 PPG, you made the right decision. Although the LeBron and Improving factor has to be factored, though still I believe LeBrons Imrpovement and Gooden can fill Boozers shoes.

    Gooden averageing a double double.

    Drew Gooden
    PPG 11.6
    RPG 6.5
    APG 1.1
    SPG .78
    BPG .91
    FG% .445
    FT% .637

    Carlos Boozer
    PPG 15.5
    RPG 11.4
    APG 2.0
    SPG .99
    BPG .73
    FG% .523
    FT% .768

Hmm Boozer looks better to me A whole lot better. Cavs will probably be a little better than last year just because of Snow though.

Except you didn't include minutes per game and the fact that Gooden wasn't the full time PF, he played SF/PF/C during the season.
Also you didn't mention that Gooden averagded 12.70 rebounds in 33.4 minutes against the Pistons in the playoffs last season.
Also Gooden wasn't a PF in Memphis, he was a SF, and when he was playing PF in Orlando, he avergaed 8.40 rebounds in 28.6 minutes a game.

Numbers are decieving when you don't look into them all the way [IMG]

Heres mine ...this is the most accurate...at this point of the off season...U ppl r lookin at last season...look at the line-ups right now...

    1. Detroit
    2. Miami
    3. Indiana
    4. Toronto
    5. Phillie
    6. Boston
    7. New York
    8. Chicago, Orlando or Atlanta ....things r lookin good in A-Town!

Milawaukee lost too many of their key parts....brian skinner, brevon knight, and Damian ( starter when ford was out)...they hav a chance if they make some moves....Jersey, has no chance...

^ detroit and indiana cant have 1 and 3.. theyre in the same division so indy would be 4th and toronto would be 3rd in ur prediction.. and no things arent lookin good in atlanta.. aquiring antoine walker is not the way to go if u want ur franchise to go somewhere.. they might as well rename the team the antoine walker hawks

    1. Detroit
    2. Miami
    3. Philly
    4. Indy
    5. Tdot
    6. Boston
    7. New York
    8. Wizards

the bulls, cavs, and wizards are going to be battling it out for that final 8 spot, but im confident the wizards will prevail.. led by a much improved kwame brown and newly aquired antawn jamison

Don't forget that Gooden was playing off the bench and out of position. He was played at SF when he natural position is PF.

Now he will be the starting PF for the Cavs, 'The Goods' will show you just how good he can be. I mean, 11ppg and 6rpg off the bench and out of position is great numbers. The guy can average almost 20/10 next season now that he is playing in the right situation.

Alot of people here seem to be under estimating the Cavaliers and the Wizards. The Cavs have improved the team since last season (despite loosing Boozer) and the Wizards have improved alot too. Miami is the only team in the South East that is better than the Wizards, and while the Cavs may be in the toughest division in the East, they are still one hell of a team. LeBron is going to lead them to the playoffs.

The Cavs arent much better than they were last year. The additions of Gooden,Snow, Luke greatly bulter them but the loss of Boozer screws them. Unless they make anoth move I cant see the Cavs making the play offs. LeBron is not the best leader and is highly overrated.
