As many of you can see it is not a very deep team by any means. Lionel Chlmers Jr. was takin by the clippers in the second round of this years draft and is yet to be signed, but most likely he will because he will come cheap like Sterling likes and he was takin pretty high in the second. Also the clippers need him to have at least a 10 man roster.

From what I see a big thing for them this off season was to sign kobe when that failed so did basically there entire off season game plan. I think they can make a run at kidd if they want, but sterling most likely will not want to take on kidds huge contract.

Overton is predicted by many to become a great coach once he retires, but he has told reporters and nba gm's that he wants to play at least one more year in the league. He performed pretty well for the clippers last year in a couple occasions I would be happy to see him back on the team.

Maggette imo will have a break out year for the team and average at least 22 points since he has upped his scoring all his years in the league. He will probable make a bid for the all star team imo. He will be a very good mplayer next year for them.

Brand will continue to be the double double guy he always is averaging 19 points 10 rebounds for the clips imo. He and maggette have what it takes to be a kobe shaq duo without the ego's if they can get some depth around them. Then livingston could be a very talented peace to help them be that.

Livingston will get the starting job over jarkic imo just because of the hype and because he will sell tickets. That is something that sterling is intrested in and it makes him money it will not help livingstons development to be thrown right in there, but it may happen.

I see the clippers having a good season next year if they can get a little bit of depth. I dont see them making the playoffs though I see a 40-42 season and the playoffs the next year when they have depth.

Starting Lineup

PG - Marko Jaric to start the season, then Livingston later
SG - Kerry Kittles
SF - Corey Maggette
PF - Elton Brand
C - Chris Kaman

6th Man
Chris Wilcox

Rest of Bench
PG - Shaun Livingston in the beginning
SG - Bobby Simmons
SF - Hopefully Matt Barnes
PF - 6th Man
C - Somone should be signed, I don't think Moore can play too well.

Brand and Maggette will both be getting more shots with Q gone, I expect Brand to put up a little more than usual, somehting like 21 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.3 blocks.
Maggette's scoring output will also increase, he should put up about 21-22 points a game, and have 5+ rebounds, and 3+ assists a game.

If the team stays healthy (like I posted before, they were 18-20 with the stating lineup playing last year), they can win at least 37 games.

I'd like to see them go after a backup PG, and maybe play Jaric at the SG a little.
They should also go after someone that can play the role of backup C, because I really don't trust Josh Moore, but Wilcox can rotate subbing at PF and C.

I'm liking the starting line-up but the bench isnt really solid. I wish the Clippers landed Fisher that would have been awesome.

Everyones forgetting Lionel Chalmers. Marko Jaric isn't a pure point guard he's more of a shooting guard. Here's my line-up:
Starters:
PG: Lionel Chalmers
SG: Kerry Kittles
SF: Corey Maggette
PF: Elton Brand
C: Chris Kaman

Bench:
PG:Shaun Livingston
SG:Marko Jaric/Quinton Ross
SF:Bobby Simmons/ Matt Barnes
PF: Chris Wilcox
C:Zeiljko Rebraca
