BMore he went to Long Reach High School in Howard County, I'll end up going there. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">BOYS Mike Smelkinson Long Reach, basketball The 5-foot-5 senior point guard had a huge week, scoring 29 points, including the 1,000th of his career, in a Feb. 17 victory over Howard, and adding 26 points, six assists, three rebounds and two steals in a 79-67 overtime win against Atholton on Thursday. The Atholton victory, helped by Smelkinson's three-pointer to start the extra period, gave the Lightning at least a share of the Howard County title, which they went on to win outright on Monday. Veteran Long Reach coach Al Moraz called Smelkinson's performance against the Raiders "one of the best individual efforts I can remember in a long time." A two-time all-county selection, Smelkinson, who has accepted a full scholarship to Division II California (Pa.) Teams centered their game plans around trying to stop him with box-and-ones and diamond-and-ones. Wilde Lake succeeded in the regional championship game by double-teaming him every time he touched the ball. Smelkinson, 5 feet 5, 135 pounds, thought his best all-around game was against River Hill when he scored 30 points, had five steals and eight assists and took two charges. I know, I have brought this up before but I am getting sick of hearing Sean May's name mentioned. Even though I am a Tar Heels fan and one of the biggest I do not like him as a player. He is quite over rated IMO. There increased depth of talent will result in less touches for him and that means less stats.

We all get the picture, you don't agree then thats cool. You think he's overrated then more power to you. I could go thru your list with a fine toothed comb but I'm not. This is all opinion.
1)Wayne Simien - He's wild... has strength and soft touch, real big body... can bruise anyone and back anyone in college down... just needs to work on his arsenal of post moves and not to get so injury prone 2)Hakim Warrick - Wayne and Hakkim are the obvious top 2 picks... both coming back seniors when they could've been lottery picks in last years draft. 3) Chris Paul - Sensational freshman year... even better in his sophmore campaign IMO after these 3 is where there'll be many arguments.

May is a good player but I think needs alot of work and is way over-rated in the college game. He does have some time left there and could possibly be a 1st round pick after his senior year. And even if he is fully developed after his senior year the NBA will pick him just because he is a big body and I cannot stand when they do this. I also like to add that I am too and faithful UNC fan for a long time.
