I see the Lakers in 7th or 8th. I see them as the Dallas Mavericks from last year, but I dont know if they'll score like the mavs did. Mavs stopped and popped, Kobe is the only shooter on this team aside from Rush. And Driving the ball takes a lot more out of a player than pulling up for a J. I'm not speaking as a Laker hater but, the Lakers are done.
Western finals. If they get a middle seed 3-4.......If the Lakers get a very low seed I dont see them getting past the 2nd round.
I don't care what anyone says I still say we are winning. Why watch everygame if you don't even think they have a shot at winning? You got to belive that they will win, I lost a game at my high school and i still thought that if there were 10 more seconds we could have won, and that happened twice to the same team. back to the subject i think this line up is better than last years..i think shaq could have done way more than he did and that hes lazy but i still like him. 04-05 nba champions los angeles lakers.
Yes I am a huge Laker fan but we are far from the 04-05 champs..if we can get KG in a deal involving Lamar Odom and some other people I would say that but that would never happen because KG isnt tradeable..WE hae a good lineup, I think also better than last years but this yer hte lineup is stoppable, last yera when we had problems we could of gone to Shaq..we cant do that anymore.. THis years lineup is more well rounded and has better depth, I think we can still make it to atleast the 2nd round of the playofs
i think every1 is going to underestamate them since shaq is gone and i think there going to make a conference finals apperence just because they have a solid team
The Lakers are underrated by some and overrated by others... they probably won't make the conference finals and they definitely won't win it all, like some say, but on the flipside they won't miss the playoffs or be a lottery team. They'll be somewhere between the 4-7 seeds because they still have a good team and I see them getting into the second round because of their playoff experience. If Malone decides to come back, which would be the best-case scenario, the Lakers would be a lot stronger than last year's team and I think they could do some damage in the playoffs. It remains to be seen how the rest of this offseason will play out, but rest assured no matter what happens we will be in good shape for next season. Assuming that the new info on the Kobe case doesn't affect the outcome, and he doesn't go to jail.
I dunno man, I dunno how OR why they will be stronger than last year's team as so many preach, or better than any other time it was shaq + kobe + phil . A dynasty is a real difficult task to build up to and it doesn't happen very often. The only way they can be stronger than the other times is to come back and win 3 more in a row, and they're far from having that kinda roster and team. And that is with Malone comming back. If rebuilding the Lakers is the challenge that kobe wanted, well he got it, now let's see him take his team from the bottom to the top and try and win 3 more in a row and shut me up .

I see them making it to the second round after that its all a blur. It is a toss up they would have a tough time getting by the Wolves or the Spurs, but like KareemTheRush said if you do not go into it with the mentality you are going to win it all then you have already lost. As well as like many people say impossible is nothing so I am not ruling out anything for this team, but on the other hand I will not promise anything either because that would be a slap to the face of any other team who we may face in the playoffs.
