<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Gotrunks226:</div><div class="quote_post">well considering Marion is what? 6'7 6'8.... i believe he could be capable of playin PF... Elton Brand himself is like 6'7 6'8 and he's playing PF, and i don't believe Nuggets have Lenard or Barry cuz they are on the FA... if not prove me wrong</div> well lenards nota FA barrry is but
true the nuggets are strong this year and will give a lot of teams a hard time around the hoop i think they have a mad defence with martin, nene and camby
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Wink23:</div><div class="quote_post">I dont know why they would trade JJ, he really came about in the 2nd half last year. What would Denver trade? Keep Joe and have him come off the bench, or play Marion at PF pg-nash sg-JJ sf-richardson pf-marion c-voskul I think the Suns will trade Marion and his huge contract instead to somewhere.</div> that is never going to happen Marions too short for PF and where is Amare Stoudemire on this list?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Flames:</div><div class="quote_post">that is never going to happen Marions too short for PF and where is Amare Stoudemire on this list?</div> yeah agreed completely... the Suns franchise player is Amare Stoudemire, not Marion, not Richardson, not Nash, not Johnson, not friggin Jacobsen. If the franchise player can't even start on his own team then... I don;t know what then. Matrix is a finesse swingman that barely posts up... you want him to play strong in the post like Brand it's not happening..
well first off i wanted atl to make a shot at getting joe johnson. but that line up would be tight with marion at the pf. alot of speed. But i just truly doubt stoudemire will ever play center considering hes stated it will never happen.
I like the Nene-JJ trade idea. Both players have huge potential and they both deserve to start. This trade would give them both that opportunity. Their salaries match up too. But I think JJ is worth more than Nene though. JJ is a future allstar.
I would hate this trade. JJ is and up and coming star in this league. He is oversized for the position (built like a tall linebaker). He can handle the rock, shoot the jumper, post up, create his own shot, play D, rebound, dish. JJ can simply do many things and do them all well. He averaged 19.5 ppg and something like 5.5 apg and 5.8 rpg. He will maybe not put up quite these numbers next year because he will not get as many minutes but I expect the numbers to be close. JJ could average 18ppg 5apg and 6rpg. He also is a very versatile player playing 4 positions last year. I do not know much about Nene but I do know he is a natural PF. He is big and capable of playing center but I have heard him described before as a soft player and I know Amare killed him when we played Denver. I like that he can run the break and he would be a welcome addition to me for Casey J. Milos V. and first round pick, but NOT JJ!
First of all, Denver has as many valuable trade assets as any team in the L. Skita and their three remaining first round picks are only the beginning. I don't see a Nene/JJ happening, Denver loves Nene. I say the trade that most makes sense is Voshon & Skita for JJ and a second rounder. Phoenix needs a legit center. Skita has boatloads of potential, as he showed in Summerleagues. But his ability to carry that over into the regular season isn't a guarantee, so they also get another talend in Lenard. Denver is looking to upgrade their 2 spot, and JJ is on his way to becoming an All-Star. If they have him and a re-signed Jon Barry, they're all set. Besides what the two teams need, there's also what they want to get rid of. Skita and JJ are both talented, but both teams need to trade them this season. They signed Q knowing that JJ's contract runs out after this season, and they're afraid that he's going to be asking too much money. With Q on their roster, he becomes expendible, but he's too talented to let walk away in free agency. They need to get something for him now. Skita has too much talent to waste on the bench, but behind Camby, Martin, and Nene, that's exactly what he'll do. Denver knows they have a talent in Skita, and so do other teams. They know that he is much more valuable to them as a trade commodity then what he can bring to the court right now on this current Denver roster.
