Name some Actors/Ress's that you think are underrated.. Eric Bana is really underrated..He stole the show in Troy and was excellent in Black Hawk Down..I never did see the Hulk but I heard he was decent in there too, I think with him now being James Bond he will get more into the publics eyes and become more famous... Jamie Foxx is supposed to be awesome in the movie collateral..Roger Ebert said that he was almost as good as Cruise in the movie..that is a big thing, I think Foxx can be a good actor if he is serious about it.. I will name some other ones when I can think of them..
Eric Bana is a superb actor, and is actually rumoured to be the next james Bond. Going along with Aussies, Hugh Jackman is another underrated actor, and has recently branched out (very successfully mind you) into theatre. Cuba Gooding Jnr is also very underrated.
I think they confirmed it that Bana is the new bond..that is what I heard..THey want to make Bond a new hero..they want him to appeal to today's youth..a hardass that can kick your ass without trying..Bana was superb in Troy..If I was the academy I would nominate him for supporting role..but that is me, Hugh Jackman is great he is awesome as Wolverine and I never did see Van Helsing but I heard he was good in that too...I like THomas Jane..granted I have only seen one movie by him, The Punisher...he was pretty good in that, the movie was disappointing but he portrayed Frank Castle very well.
I'd have to disagree with Eric Bana. He knows how to look conflicted, but I don't see much else when he acts. I'd say Mekhi Phifer (one of my three favorites) and Jennifer Lopez are underrated.
Mos Def and Mandy Moore are musical artists that are great actors, unlike many of their predecessors. They haven't had a lot of roles so they haven't been noticed yet, but from what I've seen, their future will be on the big screen
Mos Def got nominated for an Emmy..I dont remember what for but he is in the runnings for one this year
