I've asked a few people about the definition of a rising star, and the answer I've gotten was a consistent one. A rising star is a player whose career is on the uprise, usually young guys who have recently received stellar playing time and look to breakout. Examples of rising stars I have received are players like Jonathon Bender, Pau Gasol and even Jamal Crawford. Jerome Williams does not fit that description. He is already past his prime, which were his days in Detroit when he was a consistent rebounder, averaging 9.6 a game. If you're saying that he was coming into his own with increased minutes, you're completely wrong. Maybe you're too young to remember, but Williams has already had the starter's minutes and touches before he came into Toronto with Detroit. As a matter of fact, his basketball talent was already on the upswing, and is actually dropping now.

Nah. I mean his career was very much in its prime and was on the peak of his game. He was doing pretty well. Though from your post I guess I was wrong.

I didn't notice that you were younger than me...You're pretty smart for a kid born in the 90's, afterall you are the reigning MVP.
