Just wanted to know what you think will be Iguodala's stats for this year...Everything PPG, APG, RPG even BPG if ya want...Here's mine Total Games - 82 Total Games Started - 62 PPG - 10.7 RPG - 5.2 APG - 4.9 SPG - 1.35 Minutes Per Game - 23.4 I think in the begining of the season Iggy will be off the bench...Then I think the Sixers will move him into the starting lineup for Willie Green or Glenn Robinson...Over all IMO Iggy has a nice well-rounded year...He'll team up with AI and have a pretty nice defensive backcourt (in SPG)...
Iggy could be a real impreessive new 6th man seeing as how Aaron Mckie is getting old. He could share about equal minutes with Glenn because Glenn cant play too long. Anyway here are my projected stats. PPG-10.9 RPG-6.8 APG-3.3 SPG- 1.3 BPG- .4 FT %- 78% FG%- .430 % 3PT%- .290% MPG- 29 I believe he will become an all star one day. HE will become similar to a Scottie Pippen type player just not as good.
I pretty much agree with Ace's stats for him: PPG-11.2 RPG-5.9 APG-3.1 SPG- 1.1 BPG- .2 FT %- 79% FG%- .420 % 3PT%- .270% MPG- 24
Yes, you did Avery and here it is: http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20124 Most likely be removed or closed anyway.
Well even though this was posted a while ago I didnt get a chance to replie to that thread so I will to this one. I have said it many times before here in the sixers board and I will say it again for iggy to have a successful year in my mind he needs to improve his three point shooting. I think he will struggle his rookie season with his shot. Though do to the offense that coach O'brien wants to run he will still get his points though mostly imo he wont be very affective in the half court game for the sixers if he is forced to shoot from long distance he shot under 30% from three point distance in college and with the longer nba three he will struggle even more. For either postition he is gona play be it swing man or shooting guard a big part of those spots are being able to hit open shots and threes as well as jumpers he will struggle with that. He has good size and can probable post up to get baskets though and that will probable be what he does much of his rookie year. I dont see him shooting a good percentage though under 45% for sure. Anyway here are his stats as I see them next year. Games played- 78 Games started- 10 PPG-10.9 RPG- 5.3 APG-4.1 SPG- 1.1 BPG- .50 FT %- 75% FG%- .430 % 3PT%- .220 % MPG- 27 I think he will start a couple of games for the sixers a little under a dozen. I think this will happen because he will show JO potential to be put in the starting lineup as well as injuries to robinson and other guys will give him at least that many starts. I dont think he will play all 82 games for the sixers. I think he will probably some time have a minor injury like a ankle sprain or something that will keep him out a few games. I hope not, but I am being realistic as to the fact that less than a hand full of players played 82 games for the team last year.
Well here's mine. PPG: 7.0 RPG: 5.9 APG: 4.1 SPG: 1.0 BPG: .7 FT%: 81 % FG %: .430 % 3PT %: .30 % MPG: 21
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Iron Man:</div><div class="quote_post">Well here's mine. PPG: 7.0 RPG: 5.9 APG: 4.1 SPG: 1.0 BPG: .7 FT%: 81 % FG %: .430 % 3PT %: .30 % MPG: 21</div> lol i guess your expectations for him arnt too high.
one of my favs from wildcats.... saw him in person his game was worth the price of the tickets the other u of a members just was an added bonus anyway i exoect him to be a big art of sixers (look at there team) atleast an avg of 16+ a game 4+ assists 6+ rebounds
he only avergaed 12 points in college, how is he gonna avergae the same in the nba in his first year . i say he would avergae 7 or 8 ppg, 4-5 rpg, 3-4 apg 1.5 spg 39% fg
Here is a more in-depth look at Andre Iguodala. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">OVERVIEW: Iguodala is one of the most versatile players in the draft. The Illinois native spent two seasons at Arizona and his sophomore campaign was impressive. Iguodala showcased his skills by averaging 12.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists and turned in three triple-doubles. In high school, Iguodala starred in All-Star games and has no veritable weakness to his game. The only question about Iguodala is whether every aspect of his multi-skilled game will improve enough for him to succeed in the NBA. The Illinois native does not shine in any one area and every area of his game must shine for him to be effective. LIKELY DRAFT POSITION: Iguodala's impressive outside shooting displays in workouts have greatly enhanced his stock. He's receiving more serious looks from teams such as Chicago (3) and Charlotte (4), whom were originally believed to have favored Luol Deng. Even if Deng still bumps him out of either one of those picks, Atlanta (6), Philadelphia (9) and Cleveland (10) are all in the market for swingmen. COMPARATIVE UPSIDE: Scottie Pippen, Ron Harper COMPARATIVE DOWNSIDE: Alvin Robertson ROLE PROJECTION: Spot starter. Future All-Star.</div> <div align="center">Andre Iguodala Draft Capsule</div>
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Avery:</div><div class="quote_post">Here is a more in-depth look at Andre Iguodala. <div align="center">Andre Iguodala Draft Capsule</div></div> HAHA I knew he was comparible to Scottie Pippen theyre both good permimeter defenders. Great defenders in all really. Ya I pretty much agree with that article there. Everything it really says I pretty much agree with.
Jesus, make some friggin' sense people. Most of you have him averaging a MPG in the low 20's, and he can get 12 points a game? I recently wrote a Sixth man article, and I'll throw up some comparisons here. Rafer Alston averaged 31 minutes, started 28 games, and averaged only 10 points. John Salmons averaged 20 minutes and started 24 games, and averaged 6 points. Honestly, do you think that Igoudala will average 12 points in 22 minutes? That would translate to 26 points in 48 minutes, which would place him in the top 20's for that statistic. If he can be such a good offensive source, why even bother benching him?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ace2k2:</div><div class="quote_post">lol i guess your expectations for him arnt too high.</div> Well its only his rookie season, he's not really gonna put up huge numbers right away.
