Oh my god, did anyone just see our boy? Allen Iverson just hit a half court runner to win and game that was almost another loss. That was great, I'm glad AI is contributing to this squad full of superstars.

WOW! I didn't see it but would you imagine the haters if AI would've missed that shot? I can't really think about it...scary. TheAnswer3,AI hit one game winner last season but it wasn't at the buzzer,it had like 18 seconds to play.
I was happy to see that Allen Iverson was a little more trigger happy, and decided to shot some more rather than looking to get his teammates involved. His jumper was on target at first, but then he just got cold. But fortunately for him, he caught fire at the right time. We?re talking about how he was the hero of the game because of that buzz beater, but remember he also hit another clutch three pointer before that one. If it wasn?t for that clutch play as well, the game would have been forced to overtime if not a loss. I was a little upset with ESPN camera job. Thanks to them, we all missed Iverson first career buzz beater. It?s not the same when it happen real time opposed to replay, and already knowing the conclusion thanks to a screaming commentator. Props to AI, but the usa team should not have been in this situation. The lost to Italy ( one of the lower level teams) and the close win against Germany (a team that is not even in the olympics) makes me think we sent the wrong group of guys.
Ya that was a sweet shot. Very clutch shot. AI has the ability to become a clutch player. I remember during the game they siad Larry Brown teaches his players to make shots like that. That wass a VERY competitive game especially for a exibition game. The game kept switching sides. It shows thaT The USA had a off game on ITaly because Germany beat Italy.
Can't view Sasha's link but about Germany being a wuss team cause they didn't qualify,Germany is one of the top teams in Europe if they have Nowitzki,they didn't have Nowitzki when they needed him to qualify,easy as that.
Man I am so mad I didnt see it! AI finally hit a game winning shot at the buzzer man I cant wait till I see it on ESPN and I am really proud of AI and maybe now he is considered clutch. This will now get the USA Team and Iverson are hyped and I think if they can beat Germany they can beat anyone this game should give AI all the confidence in the world.

Again AI comes through for team USA yet he still has people who will say he shot to much and didnt get his team involved. He has had two good games since coming off of the suspension. Showing he deserves to be captin of team USA. He had one good shooting game in the teams lose to Italy last time going 5-7 from the field and a clutch game this time just in coming through when the team needed it. He has truly shown he deserves the title of captin.
Has AI hit any game winning shots in the NBA, I can't recall him hitting one really, I mean he's hit shots down the stretch, but an actual game winner?
