Bosh won't be as popular as VC...unless he starts flying like Vince, and start replicating the dunks carter did at Oakland in 2000.
VC, JYD.....and then there was that McGrady kid....he was kinda popular. Babcock is the MAN. We will have to wait to see how his draft pick turns out I really like everything he has done so far. He has said, Vince, I'm the boss here, not you, not Peddie. The MGMT and coaching team he has built is INCREDIBLE. I would say amongst the best in the NBA as a whole if not THE best. I totally trust Babcock and his plans to build a championship team...maybe not this year....but he will do it. .....and he has said," I have no intention on trading Vince" END OF STORY ! Vince has 4 years (I think) left on his contract...so again Babcock says, " I have no intention on trading Vince" "I will only make a trade if it makes this basketball club better" Vince nor his agent has any clout. Babcock is holding all the cards. If Vince gets traded......I am sure you ALL will say, WOW, nice move Babs!
...it doesn't matter whos boss, if vince wants out and we keep him hes not gonna happy, and i can see vince not playing with heart or any hustle what so ever ...so if he does indeed want out...we should get rid of him....but thats if the words come out of his mouth.
All this drama he said she said talk is drivin me insane... can they just get this thing clear once and for all?
vince in 3-way deal? i was watching sportsnet and in the york report they were talking about vince leaving T.O. i think vince sold his shares of the nightclub he owned already but anyways heres the deal that includes the sixers, raps and sonics: Carter to Philly, Iverson to Seattle, Allen to Toronto it would be sooooooo much better if we just fired Peddie <font color="red">Merged your thread here. -Franchise</font>

IVERSON IS NOT LEAVING. THIS HAS BEEN DISCUSSED A TRILLION TIMES. BOTH BILLY KING AND JIM O'BRIEN CONFIRMED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS THAT IVERSON WILL BE HERE NEXT SEASON. JIM O'BRIEN SAID THE MAIN REASON HE CAME HERE WAS TO COACH IVERSON SO WHY WOULD IVERSON BE TRADED? And Ray Allen is about to possibly sign an extension with Seattle. Ugh, these rumors make me so angry!
I dunno about this deal. We get Allen for Vince? That'll sure fill up seats in ACC ... Peddie will be thrilled.
Iverson is not leaving the Sixers, and there are talks that Ray Allen might be signing an extension with Seattle. Raptor fans, you should no better than to trust Marty York, hes one of the worst for reporting bad rumours - hes wrong probably 90% of the time.
^and just to clarify... he didn't SELL his shares of "Inside" (his club)... he "explored opportunities" to sell, SHOULD he be traded. Iverson's staying put... Ray's shaping up to be LARGELY overpaid, and Vince is going to be unhappy until his tears dry in early November... it's a fact of life.
York was saying that it'll be easier if Ray Allen signs an extension to do a sign-and-trade They are just using him for rumours on sportsnet cause they don't report ANY basketball news and just want to maintain the interest of the casual Raptors fans. Most of it is bull. If it ain't on ESPN, it most likely ain't gonna happen.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Franchise:</div><div class="quote_post">Iverson is not leaving the Sixers, and there are talks that Ray Allen might be signing an extension with Seattle. Maybe they do the three way getting allen?s contract in return hoping to get some cap space for next offseason.
Carter to Philly, Allen to TO, AI to Seattle? Rumours It is just speculation(form hard arcticles right now) that the trade is Ray Allen to Toronto, Carter to Philly and AI to Seattle. It apparently according to people across the internet has been reported on the CBC(to be official). THere would have to be alot more to this trade ofr salaries to work out. Here for some of the speculation. : http://www.sportsnet.ca/nba/article.jsp?co...812_210245_2424
I really dont think that will happen. The sonics are already talking to ray allen about an extension and the sixers will not trade AI as already stated about 10 million times. If they trade him even if we get vince it will be anger and a mod every were in philly because AI is such a favorite again. He has already played a big part in the team in off season with there moves also carter has not stated anything on his desire to p-lay for the sixers so I dont think he wants to come here.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting deception:</div><div class="quote_post">that 90% comment is highly speculative and probably way off. gossip sells especially in sports and york's done well from himself.</div> Well over the years my disrespect has grown for Marty, simply because week in week out his reports are usually false. This may be common in the business, but until he proves me wrong I will feel the same way - Ignorant, I know. As for this rumour, I highly doubt it will happen due to the fact that the Sixers have repeatedly said that AI isn't going anywhere, and there are talks that Ray Allen may receive an extension. Considering that, and Babcock saying that we will only make a trade that will make this team better this doesn't make us that much better (although it is aruable for both sides), so I believe this deal is just another false rumour.
Well, the article doesn't say much about the players involved, but I don't see any way the Raptors can trade Carter to the Knicks, unless a third team is involved. The Knicks don't have anyone that appeals to us, unless they promise to take on a big contract, which they could, but the most they could offer us is another big contract.
