I dont think they should still go after carter. Especially if it means losing Marbury, this team is good enough.
Thank You.... Only Loss Is Frank Williams.... I Hope He Thinks Of Re-Signing With The Knicks After His Contract Expires...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheNextGeneration:</div><div class="quote_post">Thank You.... Only Loss Is Frank Williams.... <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Damn. If only the Knicks get Dampier now.</div> Only The Knicks is me! Anyways, back to the point. I love this deal. I agree that Frank Williams might be a great player one day and we might regret this but hey, so could Crawford. I'm behind Isiah all the way on this one even if Jamal breaks a leg and never plays again. I also think the next move had best be Vince Carter or Erick Dampier. We need a more intimidating line up. Well what can I say? GO NY GO NY GO!

<font color="Blue">Isiah has definetly made his mark on this team. Our whole team has been overhauled except for Shandon Anderson & Kurt Thomas. People keep saying we are buring ourselves with contracts. We'll In this day & age how many teams have freed-up all this cap-space, gone out & signed players & won something. Orlando tried to that & what happened. So I'm tired of knick fans complaining about the salary cap. We got our man. If it wasn't done this way we probably never get him. JC is a balla. He will make this team better. With Houston's knees & Steph ballin in the olympics, we will need someone fresh who will carry us & this kid can carry a team. Kudos goes out Zeke for makin this happen. Now we need to make Dampier a knick & the final piece is in place to make a real run @ the Atlantic Division. If we get better on the defensive end we may even make a run @ the Eastern Conference Finals.</font>

this was a good trade i think, but you have to think waht happens to houston now? i think houston is going out of NY soon maybe to the nets if we are really luck :two_thumb
Crawford Bullish on N.Y. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Michael Jordan always told Jamal Crawford that Madison Square Garden is like no other stage. It was Jordan's home away from home. Crawford, however, wasn't satisfied with just making a few visits to New York each season. He was looking for something permanent. "This really is a dream come true for me," Crawford said. "I got to know Michael Jordan a little over the last few years and he said it was the best place. I can't believe I get to call Madison Square Garden my home arena now." Crawford officially joined the Knicks yesterday after agreeing to a seven-year, $56 million contract with the Chicago Bulls. In the sign-and-trade agreement, the Bulls sent Crawford and veteran forward Jerome Williams to the Knicks for four players in the final year of their contracts: center Dikembe Mutombo, power forward Othella Harrington, point guard Frank Williams and center Cezary Trybanski.</div> Full Story
there was asmall problem with waht you said the knicks traded, franks williams was slo included in th trade
Crawford Trade This is a great trade for the Knicks, they give up expiring contracts and get a solid scorer in return. This is also a good trade for the bulls, there was no way that crawford would have resigned with the buls so they might as well get something while, but the still haven't solved there problem at sf, Deng and robinson aren't going to cut it. Aaron Goodwin(jamals agent) is probably the best agent in the nba when it comes to getting his players more money. For example this was an offer that he ran by the bulls and sonics in a Crawford sign and trade. Ray Allen for Crawford and Curry. He did this because curry is being payed 3 million a year while Ray Allen is 14. This would force the Bulls to sign crawford to an 11 million dollars a year. The same thing went on this trade. they traded a bunch of over priced players for a fat contract but one thats not to fat so that crawford could earn top dollar. There is no dought in my mind that Mr. Goodwin orchestrated this deal. He is a genius.
Why would they do this if JC is going to be on the bench?I say you trade Allan Houston and Marbury for VC now.
