Wow this is a huge shocker. He didn't even give any reason of why he wanted to be traded. Any one Have any possible teams that he could go too?

Toronto! lol i was talkin bout this in the raps area, i think it possibly could go down, but if i were the GM i'd do it. Just cuz TO needs to win games and sac needs to play with a style, i dont know what type of game they play, with dallas it's obvious with detroit its obvious but why not a good team such as sacramento?? anyways i would wanna c that b brought up in the news!

What makes Peja any different from Morris Peterson? They can both shoot, and the thing that separates Peterson from Peja is that he can actually slash. Peterson is Peja of the Raptors, so there's no way Peja will be a Raptor. Peja for Vince, which everyone's already predicting, is totally a steal for the Kings also.
I think the Kings should trade Peja for Wally Szczerbiak and Ndudi Ebi.

You know what makes Peja different than Morris Peterson? Peja can shoot. 24 points per game worth of shooting. Either way, the Kings don't want to trade him, and i dont blame them.

Peja is probably the most overrated player in the NBA. I believe some team will be a sucker and give them a star player in return. THe Kings should be happy is asking to be traded.

THis off season has probably become one of the biggest ever.

You're kidding right?

If you're serious then difference b/w Peja and MoPete is that Peja actually hits his shots. You're talking about the best pure shooter in the nba versus an extremely inconsistent shooter. You can make a case for VC being better than Peja, but saying MoPete is on the same level as him is pushing it.

oh god man...

peja = all star
mo pete = sixth man at best

peja = 24ppg
mo pete = 24points on a good night

peja = deadly shooter
mo pete = streaky shooter

he's overrating vince and your underrating him. i find it funny despite just his passed season, vince avg'd 22, 5 and 5, plus played pretty much the whole season, people are still saying he's overrated and injury prone. those look like pretty good numbers to me...am i mistaken some how? are those bad numbers?

Peja is just mad he lost his boyfriend to the Lakers. And now he is stuck with Webber all by his lonesome.

Peja is good but he isnt even the best player on his team. If someone should be mad it's Bibby.

Peja aint goin' no where, and if I had to predict I'd say to Indiana for Artest. Vince is overated.

peja does have a reason to leave because divac is gone (and he's not his boyfriend), i would be pissed too...the pacers and kings have the best shot at making a trade, but i hope peja is traded for allen like someone mentioned awhile ago. more players would have to be added, but either way i think the kings will be a better team because they will be able to compete in the playoffs!! i love peja though and divac, the kings just won't be the same...

If Peja leaves Sacremento for some weak team like L.A. or Minnesota for a Caron butler and Kareem or to Minny for Schzerbiak im sticking to watching College Basketball.Also the reason he wants to leave is because his boyfriend signed to L.A

Vince is not my "beloved" player. I would have to praise Vince as god every single time in order to be his beloved player. I have noticed that the NBA player the most users on this board haven't seen play is Vince Carter. Just don't talk if you haven't seen him play, why is that so hard? Stop living off the flippin articles and highlights.
Vince is not overrated nor is he injury prone. He only missed 9 games last year, and despite not being 100% healthy throughout the whole season, he was still able to carry his team to a record around .500 prior to the allstar break. After it, he was roughly scoring 30, 5, 5 on a nightly basis due to the fact that they had to fight for the #8 seed in the east. Unfortunately in a game, we see Bruce Bowen purposely inserting his foot at the spot Vince elevated for a shot, and eventually having to wear street clothes. When he came back, he was scoring productive numbers and he was carrying the team on his back, but it was too late for the Raptors to have any hope for the #8 seed. After last season, he's nothing but underrated.
For you to say he's not a team player is the most hilarious post I ever read. Ask anyone who have seen Vince play and they'll say he even passes just as much as he shoots, if not more.
I would like to see this Peja Stojakovic dude make the Raptors better than Vince would. He has talent, but no way is he going to play as good due to the fact that the Raptors don't have as good of a system as the Kings.
Peja can't lead a team for 30 seconds if it meant his life. Bibby and sometimes Webber, were the leaders of the Kings.
You know why Peja wants out? He no longer has Divac to set him screens for open shots [IMG] No way can Peja create and generate an offense like Vince.
